I've never been to a Hindu wedding and have only ever seen them take place on the telly but this is the 1st time I have seen the mangulsutra be put on before the phera. Is this a normal practice? Or just in certain areas?

i am a hindu from india but in india the customs differ from place to place..even i dont know is this normal practice or not..i am not aware of gujarati marriages..any how in the upcoming episodes we will get to see lot of scenes of dhara and jai😃
