I ws toh thinking tht all this things happen in soaps n movies only... bt u faced it in real.. hope I dnt hv to face all this...

hey dont be scared dear be strong and believe in urself..not everyone is the same..yea my cast is also similar to rajput.. but i am not from rajasthan but a kshatriya another state...

anyways if you have confidence in your bf that he will support you then u dont have to worry. besides be strong. remember jab ghee seedhi ungli se nahi nikalta toh ungli tedhi karni padti hai.

remembering one thing there is nothing wrong in learning new culture, language and cooking. you are just enhancing your skills.. do it just for the sole purpose of self improvement not for pleasing someone else or rather imagine if you are left alone in life you will have to learn these things especially cooking to survive. . also make sure your bf's family already knows the real you, do not pretend, you should be proud of yourself. Dont retaliate instantly be quiet but one thing if someone insults you dont let them walk over you, give it back to them in a calm composed manner and choose your words carefully so that your words achieve the purpose of letting the opposite person that you will not take insults like this from anyone and also make sure you are not caught in a catch 22 situation because of your words.

for example the daadi of my husband always used to say that i stole her diamond - 'mera heera chura liya tumne' and i used to give it back smiling way - 'daadi' maine toh aapke heere ko ghis kar aur bhi chamka diya.' 😉

I must say your a brave women ,who had to face so much of pain. But i like the way you looked at it so optimisticly .Like learning new culture.I can totaly understand your in laws infact my family background has similar thinking.I mean they are scared of society thats the sole reason .Every society has their different culture and they think their culture is best.Like how every person thinks their religion is best, their country is best.Punjabi thinks only punjabis are the best.We new generation look at life differently .We study work at different places where we have to meet different people where we fall in love. Its all together different vision. But one should never break a marriage.
But i find ansu ba the head more foolish becoz she just hates her becoz she lived outside india ,to break a marriage is not justified neither do ill treating is justified.

hey tanvi..thanks so much dear ...🤗i take a bow...

in agree as well..ansu baa is a lady who is like the hindi proverb "kuve ka maindak" she has probably not seen or acknowledged the world beyond her house, village and factory..she has only met people related to her or her factory not from the outside of that. So she has made an opinion that everyone who is from overseas does not have sanskaar..also the ideology is for her about what sanskaaar means is also different..

i mean if i get up early at 4 in the morning, take a bath, do pooja etc and then go outside and hurt someone..that does not mean i have good sanskaars...
