And thanks for bringing this discussion topic up, the characters of Sangini are really intense, so the love story/stories that take place, can never just be simple.

the concept of sangini itself is falling in love for the second time .rudr and pihu loved each other .but they had compatibility and ego problems.even in real life also sometimes couples who does love marriage get seperated because of incompatibility and ego.that does'nt mean that they were not in love with each other in any stage of their relationship.same way rudr really loved PIhu and viceversa.but they get seperated and afterwards Rudr falls in love with Gauri..

@Paru - yeah you have a point there on bold. So maybe it was love for both of them, kind of an immature love. Maybe they just loved each other but failed to understand eachother.

@rach1 ,but ur question was whether RUDr ever loved pihu.for that my answer is he definitely loved real pihu because people get fall in love for different reasons.
