@LadyZaib: You brought about a doubt which I had developed seeing the episode....Seeing by the way she has been not paying much attention to him whether during childhood or now, it just makes me wonder if she is his real mother? No mother can tolerate any pain in her kid's eyes or heart..She would make sure that it is eradicated as soon as possible but with Rudra's mom, the case seems different..She is in to her status maintenance and stuff but when it comes to give him quality time, she refuses...She can be his real mother but the problem is that why she never gave him that motherly love which he longed for and how can she see her son in pain?

Yeah definitely , Aruna Irani is doing a wonderful job essaying the role of Rudra's mother....Her portrayal is very to the point...

However Rudra's mother does buy new things for her elder son but then y'sday we did see that she blackmailed Rudra to keep that Payal with him...Although, she has not been that good as a mother yet she still wears the kangan gifted by him to her with his first salary..Her's is a typical character, am yet to come to terms with her...
