I think in the next two weeks after Shashank stabilizes, the story will progress and show flashbacks.

They will explain what happened to Smriti. What happened to Rahul. The makers realize Juhi and Shashank’s relationship cannot be tainted. Maybe, in time when Rahul-Juhi’s child will be discussed and if Rahul is dead, another doctor might be introduced to start a mature love track for Juhi.

I'm even more confused here

They weren't a couple as per what others told me here. Now you want them to be a couple 🤔

To New viewers it won't make any difference, but the old viewers might not want it.

When Dr shashank made juhi to leave sanjavini then after that Dr shashank realize that he has did mistake that he didn't not take right decision. . Some how he felt bad for juhi asking her leave sanjavini that is he wants to cover up all loss of juhi that is why he show care and concern to juhi.

And by going season 1 CVS hardly show Dr shashank doing romantic scene. CVS always shown dr shashank dealing with sanjavini problem

How to deal with sanjavini problem and guiding to junior that is character of Dr shashank . Doing romantic scene is not character of Dr shashank. He is very serious about sanjavini and for him nothing is above sanjavini

This time also Dr shashank going to deal problem of hospital but this time Dr juhi is going to help Dr shashank

Since I only see that Dr shashank and Dr juhi only discussing about medical matter and there is no personal discussing in between both so there is no romantic relationship in between both

Every bond which is thora hatke from usual love relationship either its friendship or a senior junior relationship takes my heart away. I will be watning them to be just like the way they are right now. ^_^

I never watched the sanjivani1 but Juhi and Rahul were so much popular back then as a couple i remember.

But, its serial world. Lets see how the story will take turns and tunes..

#excited.

Just wanted to stop by and shed some light on this!

In Sanjivani, Shashank was initially shown as a very serious, strict mentor and professional in the hospital. He berated Juhi for being late on her first day, he suspended Rahul for his unprofessional conduct, and told all of his interns that working at Sanjivani wasn’t going to be easy, so they had better be prepared. Juhi initially saw Shashank as an idol, her admiration of him was like hero worship - and that was what irritated Rahul at first. But then as they all started working on more cases, Juhi’s hero worship lessened into a strong sense of respect since she saw the strengths and weaknesses of her mentor and came to regard him as a guru rather than an infallible godlike figure. Shashank and his interns became like colleagues rather than just a senior doctor with his juniors. Shashank became more and more of a father to Juhi as time went on - Anjali used to call her “Juhi Didi” and Shashank/Smriti basically considered Juhi to be their elder daughter, so that’s why they did her kanyadaan after helping to arrange her marriage to Rahul. Juhi and Rahul both worked very closely with Shashank and Smriti - the four of them were a solid team and practically a family.

As for Shashank...he might have seemed like a no-nonsense, closed-off man with an inability to express his emotions...But he was actually quite charming and sweet, with a great sense of humor. All of those aspects of his personality started to slowly be revealed in Sanjivani after Smriti showed up in his life again. They had to sort out a lot of complicated issues related to their marriage and their child(ren)...they had separated but hadn’t officially divorced during their 6 years apart, so when they came face to face at Sanjivani again, all the conflicted emotions and all the history and love between them started to resurface once more. And Shashank loosened up again, he started to express himself more, smile more, be more playful...Shashank was actually very romantic and a bit of an awkwardly adorable dork, too! Smriti was the only one who could really bring that out in him and she was the only one who could render him speechless, too! Shashank and Smriti had this routine of stopping by each other’s cabins for coffee, they’d keep teasing and flirting with each other, subtly or openly, depending on their mood. Literally everyone knew that Shashank and Smriti loved each other immensely, so when they abruptly announced their (re)marriage, it wasn’t really a surprise at all!

I have a question here: why did he marry the nurse named Padma?

Thanks, Swetha! Tried to provide at least some context about Sanjivani - even if Sanjivani 2 ends up diverging from Sanjivani canon, I think it's interesting to look back at what Shashank Gupta was originally like and why he and Juhi are so close. It's like a familial bond. Even Juhi and Smriti were the same way, like a daughter with her mother!
