Only a regular updater can give the detailed update. But I will give highlights since no update is yet posted (hope that is okay with the moderators).
HIGHLIGHTS of Sept. 5, 2007
- Ganga goes to open the gate of the dam, but Sagar tries to stop her since he says evidence he's searching of how her father's death happened will be lost. Ganga hesitates, but she says the life of villagers takes priority over finding out about her father's death and opens the gate of the dam. Ganga's prayer is interrupted by Bua, and Bua takes her to Madan who talks about their marriage. Ganga shouts that she will not get married to him. Madan leaves and promises to make her pay and bring her and her family on the road. Bua tries to stop Madan, but he leaves. Angry, Bua raises her hand to slap Ganga, but Ganga stops her. Ganga's mother sees this and slaps her daughter for rude behavior. Ganga cries in her room. Btw, Sagar has witnessed all this from a corner and then a window. Sagar asks Ganga to give him a chance at making things right and trusting him when she comes out of her house to get some fresh air.
- Sagar goes to Madan wanting to get the house back for Ganga, but Madan talks cheaply of Ganga's beauty and his desire for her and point-blank refuses and threatens. Sagar then implies to Madan that he thinks the reason for Ganga's father's death is because of the bad construction materials of Madan's company. And then Sagar leaves. Madan gets angry and a bit scared.
