A credible source buzzed us that the decision has been taken and this Hussain Kuwajerwala and Parvati Vaze starrer show will bid adieu to TV screen.
IWMBuzz has exclusively learnt that Sajan will end on 14 September. The team has already shot for the show and the last day was 12 July.
Sajan Re saw a decent run and it was also the lead actors' come back show.
When contacted Parvati, she confirmed and said, "It has been a wonderful experience. I have specially learnt a lot through this journey. Met amazing people on set, who are now friends too. I have already started missing shoot for it.
We buzzed Producer Vipul Shah and the channel spokesperson but did not get through to them
trp was never similar for srpjmb and jcph.. In fact jcph trps improved after it started airing at 9:30 pm right after srpjmb. If you see our barc trp thread before and after ipl as well we were constantly fluctuating between 0.9-1.1 which is a great achievement for a 9 pm prime time show when there is such stiff competition from other channels. Jijaji trp had never crossed 0.8 till now.. So it can't be compared to the consistent trp our show was getting. I feel it's sab tv's jealousy that is making them to replace this show with Aladdin to grab more viewers.. Bhagwan Kare ki ye Aladdin show satyanaash ho jaaye.. To be honest, if SRPJMB is ending, then they should also end JCPH as the two have similar TRPs- it's only fair that way.
I agree it is very sudeen and shocking- perhaps they had planned it as a finite show all along as the channel now only wants to experiment with finite shows. But then the question is then why don't they end TMKOC??
