18th September 2009 Written Update

😃 Here is today's update, so great, finally the wedding! 😃

Part 1
-Dhani's friends are getting her dressed and putting on her jewelery. Sudha comes in and puts Dhani's duppata on her head. Dhani is smiling in the mirror.
-Music is playing as Amber and his family approach. Sudha, her friend, Dhani's friends, and her grandfather watch impatiently. Tayi fakes a smile seeing them come. Dhani's friends tells her sister to pinch her, she cannot believes that Amber looks so much like a prince, she gets excited to see its not a dream. She says, When Dhani sees him, who knows what her reaction will be. Amber's family and Avinash;s parents are dancing happily as they approach. Sudha is really happy seeing this. Sudha greets Amber and his family, Tayi looks on scornfully. Sudha puts tika on Amber's forehead and feeds him sweets, her father watches happily. Sudha is dong some ritual, everyone in his family is watching happily, Sudha's friend starts to sing. Sudha starts to sing also. Averyone watches this happily. Amber tells Sudha, you wanted me to come and become your dammat, look, I have come. Sudha smiles hearing this and says, you have come as my dammat, and i your mother-in-law. Sudha looks at her father, who nods that he likes Amber, she becomes happy. Amber gets off his horse, he enters.
-Dhani's friends are telling her that Amber looks very handsome and that she will react the same way that they did when she sees him. They tell her to go and see him, she shakes her head and becomes shy. Her friend tells her that she should go see him, if she does she will remember him forever. Dhani shakes her head and says, how would i go there.They say you may not be able to see him upfront, but you can see him though the mirror.They adjust the mirror so that it faces outside and tell her to watch him well. Dhani opens her eyes to see Amber talking to people, she becomes shy. She continues looking at him happily. She takes some kajol from her eyes and places it where she sees Amber in the mirror, she continues to look at him dreamily. When he leaves she becomes more shy.

Part 2
-Everyone is socializing happily. Sudha finds a place for Madhu and Taiji to sit. A waiter brings them tea, Taiji asks for tea with no sugar, Madhu looks at her strangely. She asks Taiji, why did you ask for tea without sugar, you like very sweet tea. Taiji replies, I want to see how good these men are, what of someone from our family asks for tea without sugar. The waiter brings her tea, she frowns at the tea as Madhu laughs at her. She tastes the tea and does not like it, she treies to hide the tea, Madhu jokes that for the first time you had sugarless tea so drink all of it, Taiji frowns hearing this. She tries to hide it again, Madhu stops her and tells her she has to drink all of it. She continues to drink the tea unhappily as Madhu laughs at her.
-Sudha approaches Amber's father and tells him if he needs anything, to ask her. He tells her don't worry yourself, there are so many people here, I will ask them. She asks if the arrangements are to his liking, he looks around. He tells her, no matter how much people try, they can never make a wedding perfect, Sudha becomes devastated hearing this. he continues, but you have done everything perfect, she becomes very happy hearing this. He says I am very happy, you kept you promise, from now on your daughter is of my family. Sudha becomes very happy hearing this.
-Dhani's friends are leading her down the stairs as two other girls throw flowers as she comes down. Amber looks up approvingly at Dhani and smiles. Everyone watches as Dhani enters, Madhu laughs at Amber who is mesmerized seeing Dhani. As Dhani comes near him, they stand up. Sudha watches this happily. Dhani stops in front of Amber who is staring at her happily. Dhani finally opens her eyes to see him. Dhani looks down shyly as she tries to put a garland on Amber, Madhu pushes him back, Amber is laughing. She tries to put it on him again but Madhu pushes him back again, everyone is laughing at this especially Amber. Dhani looks up at Amber and puts the garland on him. She becomes shy as Amber continues to stare at her. Everyone is watching happily, throwing flowers, Tayi is frowning. Amber put the garland on Dhani, everyone is still throwing flowers. Amber and Dhani sit down happily, Amber's dad and Avinash's dad hug.

Part 3
-The Pandit is complaining that he has to be at the wedding. He is angry that Amber's dad did not like the girls he found for Amber. He takes a dessert and eats it, he yells at the waiter for giving him bad dessert. Sudha's father is watching this. The Pandit continues to yell at the waiter. Sudha's dad looks worries and shocked to see the Pandit. He hides his face until the Pandit leaves then looks for Sudha. He approaches Sudha, taiji comes and tells him that this is the brides mother and that he should not come near her. She asks why he is here, Sudha tells her he has come as her guest, her father says, i am from this village and leaves. Taiji says, you are inviting all kinds of people from the village. Sudha turns to see her father, he signals her to come to him.
-Sudha asks why her father called her there. He tells her about the pandit, she says, what does he have anything to do with this, he tells her that he is here and that if he sees us, then there will be trouble at Dhani's wedding. Sudha becomes shocked.

Sudha is walking covering her face, Amber's dad stops her and tells her to meet his Pandit, she looks at him shocked still covering her face.
