Short Update
Dhani wears the dress from her grandfather and does a pooja. At Amber's house, the same is happening. Dhani's mehindi ceremony happens. Amber's room gets filled with things for Dhani, he wonders what to get for Dhani as a gift. Some men bring a swing, Taiji wonders who its for, Amber says he got it, his little brother says its for Dhani, taiji becomes angry. Women start to gossip about Amber helping with wedding preparation at his Sasurals. Taiji becomes angrier. Dhani overhears her mother say she sold the house.
Part 1
Sudha is telling her friend that the sari is from where she grew up, Dhani agrees and says that she had never met her grandfather, but he must have been like the Sari seller that gave me the dress. Sudha gives the Sari to Dhani's friends and send them of to prepare Dhani. Sudha dances for a while. Later everyone is praying at a pooja, Dhani is wearing the Sari from her Grandfather. Tayi looks up at Dhani angrily, then goes back to praying. Dhani is smiling and throws flowers.
Madhu leads Amber in and he sits between his parents. Uma puts tika on his forhead and he throws flowers.
Sudha's friends are putting an anklet on Dhani.
Uma is putting an anklet on Amber.
Sudha's friends put a sting on Dhani's wrist. Her friends joke that their mom should tighten it so Amber cannot get it off, Tayi is till watching this angrily.
Uma puts a string on Amber's wrist. Madhu takes his hand and complains it is not tight enough. Uma says this is good; i don't want to nother my bahu. Mayi tells her to tighten it, and she does. Gauri holds a bowl of dessert, Madhu is about to feed him, then movies her arm and plays with Amber, moving it whenever he opens his mouth. She finally lets him have it and he refuses, Gauri jokes with him then he eats it.
Dhani is praying again with everyone else.
Amber enters his room and find Gauri, Madhu, and Mayi are filling the room with girl stuff like bangles, Saris, jewelery, and nail polish, he asks why they are doing this, they says its for Dhani. they say that you won't rule this room anymore, your wife will. He says can you do it after she arrives, they say no. He says, so you want to punish me, they say, yes we want her to be happy. Gauri says, i have done what i have done to make Dhani ahppy, how ill you make her happy, Amber wonders. She says, when you first bring Dhani here, what gift will you give her? Madhu says just make Jalibee and give it to her. Madhu, Mayi, and Gauri leave. He is smiling looking at all the stuff in the room for Dhani, he worries what to get for Dhani and remembers Dhani on a swing.
Dhani is dressed in green clothes, getting Mehndi put on her hands. Someone compliments Sudha that Dhani looks pretty in the clothes from her in-laws. Dhani's friends come and say they have a gift for Dhani, which is a key chain. They say you can use it as a signal for Amber. Her friends start dancing and doing a skit where one is dressed as a guy. Dhani and everyone is enjoying it, Tayi is still looking angrily.
Part 2
At Amber's home girls are dancing, everyone is enjoying themselves. Some women are gossiping and Amber's little brother tries to join in, Madhu tells him to stop. A man comes and asks where to put a small swing bench, Taiji asks who ordered it, the man says he does not know. Taiji asks Gauri is she ordered it for her daughters, she says no, so Taiji asks, then who asked for it. Amber comes and says I asked for it. Taiji ask why did you buy this, you don't like swings, his little brother blurts out, he got it for Dhani. Madhu grabs his mouth and says why did you say that? A woman says, he got it for his wife to be, he must have fallen for her beauty. Taiji becomes annoyed as Amber tells them where to put it. Women wonder what kind of a person Amber is because he is of this generation; Taiji argues that Amber is not like that. She says that it is women who do this stuff; I know that Madhu and Gauri are behind this. A woman says that she heard a rumor that he was helping with wedding preparations. Madhu and Gauri look worried. Another woman says that her daughter-in-law just came from the village that Dhani is from, and she said that Amber is working at his sasural's. Taiji and Uma look angry and embarrassed. Madhu and Gauri look worried.
Part 3
Dhani and her friends are joking around in the terrace, their mothers are watching happily. Sudha and her friend talk about the difference between a Maayka and and a sasural. Sudha gets sad and says, when Dhani goes to her Sasural, after she will not have a Maayka to come back to. She cries I had to sell this house. Dhani and her friends hear this. Sudha and her friend are sad. Her friends ask if she did it for her daughter, Sudha nods. She says you wanted her wedding to be amazing, so she could go to her Sasural without any embarrassment of her mother's poorness. Dhani calls her mother's name with tears, Sudha and her friend look up shocked.
