Written Update August 19, 09.

The epi starts with buyi serving sudha tea but sudha refuses it saying she cannot take anything from her daughter's in-laws. Buyi asks sudha not to worry and just take it as she must be tired but just then the tayi comes and tells buyi not to give to her because she does not want her to be pressured and it is the custom of their house that they should not even take water from their daughter's in-laws house. After taayi's intro, badrinarayan comes downstairs and excahnges hello's with Sudha and he also asks Madhu to go call amber. Amber comes and touches Sudha's feet and she blesses him and gets really happy seeing him. Looking at Sudha's happiness, tayi comments that Sudha must be getting amber as her son-in-law after many births of doing good deeds. Amber then leaves for office and badrinarayan tells Sudha that they were all supposed to come to her house after 2 days to discuss all the marriage details but now plans have been changed a little. He tells her that only Madhu will now come to their house for the teej rasam. Sudha seems surprised and asks them all to come but Amber's mom says ofcourse they will come but only with Amber's baraat.

Sudha says but they must come for teej too but badri tells her that he does not want to trouble her for taking care of their huge family as she is all alone and as it is the pandit has given them the mahurat for the wedding after 20 days. Sudha is shocked hearing its only 20 days in mahurat. Tayi insult sudha and comments that don't worry everything will be taken care of according to Sudha's financial status. Badri tells Sudha that in the baraat only their family members will come so Sudha doesnt have to worry much. Taayi also comments saying she also need not worry about Dhani's clothes as her bidaai waale clothes will be provided by the in-laws. Sudha feels bad at tayi's comments but still says she feels obliged to them for thinking so much about them but she also has some dreams for her daughter's wedding. She asks all of them to give her a chance to fulfill her dreams. She tells badri to bring as many people as he wants in the baraat and she won't leave any stone unturned to please the baraatis. She also tells him and that she may not be able to give much to her daughter but she will give everything to the baraati's as to not hurt badri's status. Badri promises her that he will bring the full baraat but she must make sure that neither his status nor her should be hurt with this. Dhani and her friends are washing clothes and they are really worried thinking about what Sudha had said about dhani's soon to be husband. They ask dhani to ask her mom how he look like but she refuses saying her amma said he is very talented plus marriages are made in heaven. Sudha comes home and tells Dhani about her in-laws.

She tells her about everyone in the family and how majestic their house. Dhani replies saying no matter what, she will not have her amma there. She will miss her a lot. Sudha tells her that she will miss her but she won't be troubled by missing her. She also tells her that her wedding is after 20 days hearing which Dhani gets really shocked. Again there's a cute scene with madhu and rohan teasing Amber regarding his future wife. Sudha tells dhani that only her sister-in-law [nanand] will come for the teej but she is confused as to what she should gift her. Dhani tells everyone else gets their chunris done from her so why doesnt she make a nice one for her? Sudha is then shown working on the chunri but she is really worried thinking about the wedding. She tells herself that she has promised badri but how is she going to take care of everything all alone in 20 days? Dhani can also see that her mom is really worried but she is not telling her anything. Dhani is getting ready as Madhu is coming to see her and Sudha hurries her to get ready. Madhu comes to theri house and sudha calls her in but she refuses to come in saying she'll only do so if she gets to see her bhabi before anything else. Dhani comes there and Mudha says now she understand why chacha ji chose her at first glance only. Again she teases dhani telling her she can ask her anything regarding amber if she wants and if she wants to give him a message then she can do that too.

Madhu tells Dhani that amber has come with her hearing that dhani gets nervous and leaves from the place they were sitting at. Madhu tells her she was only joking but amber has sent a chunri for her as a gift. Madhu shows dhani lots of chunris and asks her to choose the one amber must have chosen for her and if she doesn't choose the right one then she will tell Amber that Dhani didnt like his choice. Dhani thinks for a moment but ends up choosing the same chunri as amber and madhu gets really surprised. She comments that god has made these two just for each other. Sudha does all the rasams for the teej with madhu. Madhu leave at night time and Sudha is showing all the shagun stuff to all the village women. The women are astonished at seeing how much they have given Dhani in teej alone. Jumna massi gets really irritated hearing all the good things about dhani's in-laws and seethes in anger. Again jamuna tries to put down sudha and tells her that it is the custom for the maayka people to give double of whatever their daughter's inlaws have given and asks her how is she going to do all this? Sudha friend [kamli's mom] tells jamuna that even the vedas have said the biggest gift is that of kanyadan which Sudha is doing. She is giving the raghuvansh family the biggest gift in the form of her daughter and even if they give Sudha all of their money even then they wont be able to match the gift Sudha is giving them. At the raghuvansh house madhu is talking praises of dhani's beauty when tayi cuts in and tells her beauty stays only for a few days after which only her work will talk. She again says roop is not everything and devar ji has fixed the alliance in such a house where how will be able to face her rishtedaars [due to dhani's poor status]. She says their house was filled with the gifts given by them but how are they going to seat everyone during the wedding? She further adds that look at the chunri they gave madhu, it is not even worth showing to anyone. Tayi carries on with her displeasure at the alliance and the epi ends.

Precap:- Amber and family are at the teej mela and madhu tells him to keep his eyes open as he might catch a glimpse of his future wife and just then amber gets mesmerized by his dulhaniya girl [Dhani].
