Laxmaan went to serve his brother & his wife who was his mother & father!

He wanted to be dasa to them..taking care of them...all he want to do was that

If Urmila went with him..he has certain duties towards her too..his pati dharm will become a hindrance to his daasya dharam

Duty came first...Self last😳

When Lakhman wanted to go with Ram & Sita...He told Urmila about his dilemma! what if he does injustice towards her while doing his daasya dharam! he wanted to serve Ram Sita & to concentrate on that only!

On the other hand..he didn't want his newly wed wife to suffer in the forest..

Urmila understood him..and gave him the permission!

she didn't cry or accuse or tried to stop her husband!

instead she chose to live as a widow in a palace till her husband returns!

not every one can be urmila!

Her Sacrifices are not hailed...Knowing that she chose her path!
