I know Vidarth are the minority and hardly anyone reads anything anymore.

And I know I hardly write anymore.

I want to change that, atleast one of these things.

So, for the month of May, I'll write a drabble a Day.

Drabbles will be non linear, standalones and some maybe even song fics.

What I can promise though, is regularity and variety.

I love to challenge myself, so this time I'll be doing something crazy.

Vidarth, Sandhir, Sarth, Vidhir, Yoster, SanVid, PaRan, Sadushi, Varya.

Any of these Pairings are fair game.

Romantically or Platonically.

Fair Game.

Also, a long day, pain in the legs, cramps and shopping are not valid excuses to not write.

Neither are sleepovers, Cheesy yet so good disney movies,or heartache

Birthdays, breakups, horror movies that make you bury your head in your bestfriend's shoulders, residue feelings for the crush you had in 11th, A birthday, A Week without WIFI and Certificate courses that make you doubt your existence do not excuse you from not writing.

Loss of inspiration is not a valid excuse.

Neither is exam result related anxiety

Title: Of Books and Brawls

Pairing: Vidushi/ Parth

Rating: K

I've got a broken arm to match my broken heart

She doesn't think it ironic. Just inconvenient and irritating.

Because a broken limb makes her a liability. A weaker link.

She detests being vulnerable, weak.

She is not a damsel in distress.

Except when she is.

And this is one of the times.

Her arm is in a sling, unable to reach the book she wants.

She makes it clear, she needs assistance, because there is nothing to be gained by being coy, bashful and blubbering.

She makes it frank that she needs help.

And he ignores.

Her temper flares, she's a young volcano.

And then she throws it at him.

She's snarling at him, unfurled and unreserved, demanding why he did not help her, how dare he ignore her?

He's a tornado to match her volcano, a force biting back, grabbing her uninjured arm and threatening to break it too if she doesn't stop harassing him.

She just throws biting words back at him.

He throws more back.

Then her teeth sink into his hand.

He yells and grabs her hair.

Pushes her against one of the shelves.

But they should know better, yet they are better.

They make a better show than the couples who sit and whisper to each other.

They fall back to the floor, his hand still in her hair.

Rollling like savages, kids in the mud, enemies.

Her injured hand hurting her more than his hand in her hair.

Her kicks that hit his shin.

It's a battle to the end, but like all good things, this too ends.

Ends in them being scolded like children, ends in them getting a sharp pain in their ears and heads.

And their hearts and their brains.

It's always a war to be won, this battle of the heart.

And be it of books or brawls, both of them are warriors.

Warriors to the end, warriors who never give up.

But love is surrender and they are fighting on the wrong side.

Title: Of Pain and Puzzles.

Pairing: Sanyukta/ Randhir

Rating: K

Of Pain and Puzzles.

If there is anything Sanyukta Agarwal knows, it's pain.

She has been a silent sufferer, held her tongue and taken everything life thought fit to throw at her. She has closed her eyes and faced the darkness, the loneliness and the misery. She has felt tears leak out of her eyes

es. It's not a new kind of pain.

She can endure.

But what she can't endure is this.

Randhir Singh Shekhawat, looking like a broken man.

His pain doesn't map his face like hers does.

It stays dormant in his eyes, because he is holding it back, because he is strong enough.

But not strong enough to really hide it, not strong enough to bear it alone.

No one is.

She can't bear to see that dead look in his eyes, that lack lustre one, the one that tells her he is far from the MCP she loves to hate, hates to love and still loves.

She tried so hard, talking to him, quietly, almost begging.

Pleading him to share his pain, his burden, his sorrow, trying to convince him he's not alone, he doesn't have to be.

He roared then, like a wounded lion.

And she had to let him be.

Pain, pain. Pain she can see all over him, seeping out of him.

Pain she wishes she could heal.

And pain, she sometimes, wishes she could forget.

Her biggest flaw, she thinks, is that she has become so attached to him, that he is a part of her.

And now, pain is a part of him.

And it hurts her more than she can take, the injuries cut into her mind, heart and soul.

His pain hurts her deeper than her own sometimes.

It is unnatural to feel so much and it exhausts her sometimes.

And so, as he sinks deeper into his pain and hers.

She tries to submerge herself into puzzles.

Puzzles that may, if she tries hard enough, make her forget about Randhir and his sad eyes for a minute.

But the biggest fact is, he's made a jigsaw puzzle of her heart.

And kept the biggest piece for himself.

Pain is a part of him.

And he is a part of her.

The pain is a part of her.

And so are the puzzles.

Of him and her.

Of them.
