Dear Creatives of Sadda Haq ,

I began watching this show , because it promised to be realistic, interesting , had potential , appeared different , and most importantly looked like a show with strong female leads .

So TRUE! most of the people here will agree with you.

And I have to tell you , initially you guys did deliver on that , you really did . I was hooked , in fact my family was hooked . But the track that you have had for the past few months has been pathetic , to say the least. Far from being a stress buster, this has become a source of my stress and angst , I am this close to giving up on the show.

Down fall started when they decided to extend for another year

I understand that Sanyukta is the lead , that this her story , her struggles in a man's world . What I don't understand is why none of the other girls in the mechanical team suffer as much as she does .

it makes me wonder whether this show is about women empowerment or Sanyukta Empowerment

Now though , you have just KILLED all your characters . The logic has vanished in a poof .

I have to tell you , I have friends who have studied , graduated from Mechanical Engineering courses , without meeting the magical number of MCP's that exist in Sanyukta's life .

Sanyukta is a Magnet, attracting all MCP's to her life. good thing is that other girls are saved in the process

Why can't you introduce a boy who challenges her , pushes her to do her best yes , but minus the MCP attitude . Right now , there is nothing realistic, or at all about her problems ; they aggravate.

Now..PLEASE ..I beg of you..Don't give dangerous ideas to these people; already fed up of the existing characters! and too much of challenges now!

COUNT OF MCP"S IN SANYU"S LIFE:

1. her dad

2. her brother

3. Randhir (on again, off again, like a bloody switch)

4. Random boys who come for culturals

5. Her ex fiance

6. Her boss at her work place

7. her co wokers , fellow interns

8. The entire factory ?

The list may get longer as the show goes on

Now it's just funny , you would have us believe that there is not one man in the entire set up , who will help , according to you , the world is full of MCP's , nice *slow clap*

Exceptions are there.. Yoyo ,Vardhan but they keep safe distance from Sanyukta

Randhir was perfect , now though he reminds of either alternatively

a) a perpetually drunk lunatic

b) a third rate cheap creep .

There is nothing you can do to redeem him for me , NOTHING .

I understand suspending logic , but this takes it to another level all together .

ya right..when logic goes on holiday entire humanity suffers😭

Sanyukta was interesting , now all she is , is a whiny girl , incapable of handling life .I have interned in places , and her kind of whinning, constant drama , and general bull shit would have got her chucked out , a long time back . All I hear from her theses days is *whine , needy , needy .. , whine , whine whine ... look pathetic*

She seems nothing like somebody who can handle life . A girl who is hung up , on getting her dad and bhai's approval. Why , then would you make her the bold girl who walked out, to chase her dreams ?

She reminds me of the saas , bahu , bechari, abla naari types now . Thank you for killing her for me .Where is the gutsy , brilliant strong girl I knew ? . She's dead .

That is why they are determined to get her empowered at any cost 😉

a) What was the Varun track for?

b) Why did you take the fake boyfriend deal with Parth nowhere ?

c) Why did you have them locked in the library ?

Total Confusion..

I know nothing about either of them , any more than I did when the show started . Where is the character development ? Sanyukta and Randhir are not the only people in the story .

Our DT's have far better idea .

Most importantly , your treatment of the following issues was abysmal.

1. Jiggy's death, and suicide . What? one song defines the depth of their feelings?

2. Maya's abusive husband deal ,

3. The domestic abuse angle of Vidushi's marriage

4. THe fact that Randhir and Parth smoke when things get stressful . Drinking , I can get behind , but smoking sends a wrong message . Doping is more dangerous

5. Kindly stop trying to do a desi version of Breaking Bad, by suggesting they're brewing their own drugs on campus now .

I'm not even going to talk about the non existent logic in your show , because then this would not be a post, it would be a book.

Kudos for such a beautiful post and like you am also lost after searching for the logic that matches with the creatives

I am honestly so SICK of the show. Like really. When I was introduced to SHQ like last May/June, I was introduced to a show with almost realistic engineering tasks, a fabulous characterisation for EVERY CHARACTER in the show, and a very strong back story for practically every character.

Honestly, ever since the stupid coaching center track, I've not been able to understand what the heck's been happening. Allow me to list out the bajillion fallacies in the track (some of which you've already pointed out)

1. She joins the coaching center as a teacher, and in a time span of like a month (more like a week, cause that's how long it takes for her to coach Priyali), she makes like almost 2 lakhs worth of rupees. Firstly, tell me, which college charges like 2 lakhs for its tuition fee, AND 2 lakhs for its accommodation fee? I'm an engineering student myself, and there's a stark difference between my semester's tuition fee and hostel fee. Really. Leaving that aside, cause you know, creative liberties and all that jazz, the owner of the coaching center gets SO pleased with her, that he gives her the exact amount that she needs? How? Okay, lets attribute this to creative liberty as well. Last I checked, both, RD and Sanyukta were pretty broke. How did RD manage to pay for his hostel fees? Also, after they managed to pay for their hostel fees, how did they survive? I mean, basic necessities like food and toiletries and stationery? How did they pay for that? Or did they agree to take parental help for that?

2. Vidushi's back story. The story of her previous marriage was dropped like a bombshell, with her going on about how her parents are "dead" for her, and how she wanted nothing to do with Varun. Finally, what do we see? NOTHING. Zilch. The track had SO much potential, and the entire domestic abuse track was handled so lightly, and was not even explored! What was the point of this track? Was it just to make Parth realise that he loved Vidushi, cause she wasn't running behind him like a lost puppy anymore?

3. Is Sanyukta some sort of a magnet for MCPs? I mean, its like all the MCPs in the world are drawn to her! You've drawn a list of the bajillion MCPs she keeps meeting on an hourly basis, and honestly, its not funny anymore. To glorify Sanyukta and female empowerment, you cannot show the rest of the male species being certified jerks, cause its just not justified one bit. So please. Stop it.

4. Anju's bipolarity. Sometimes, the woman will call up Sanyukta and encourage her and shit. Next thing you know, she's marching down to FITE/hostel/office and going all "why did you do this, do you know how your dad is mad at you?". Like REALLY? I mean, at least Kishore and Ankit are better, they KNOW that they hate her engineering with a passion, Anju, on the other hand, can't seem to decide if she hates her daughter's antics, or is in awe of them.

5. Reduce, reuse, recycle; is a very, very good saying. We should do it, and try and save the environment. However, it doesn't work in daily soaps. After a year of establishing a character like RD, and making these people move ahead in their lives, you make EVERYONE go back to square 1? RD's back to ruining Sanyukta's life, Sanyukta's surrounded by MCPs, the two are out to make each other's lives miserable; with a slight change - the two still love another, so we'll get the random RD losing his temper over someone touching Sanyukta or talking to Sanyukta or helping Sanyukta. RD's character graph has been ruined so badly, I don't see any scope of redemption.

6. I've said this in many places, why has SHQ turned into a guide of "What Not To Do When In College"? Smoking, alcoholism (did we figure out why did RD treat whiskey like perfume and pretend to act drunk everywhere?), drugs, meth lab, bullying, implied pregnancy, murder; is there anything else left?

7. The dream team is as good as non existent, isn't it? Jiggy's dead, SanDhir are off acting cuckoo in Aggarwal enterprises, Parth's joined the CID, and all Vids can think about is sushi. Vardhaan keeps dropping cryptic hints about some top secret nonsense, and the new dean is out to find out that cryptic rubbish. Really, you think ANYONE cares?

8. Jiggy's death was handled SO pathetically, I cannot even fathom how could they do this. He was an important character, so much more than the very much alive Saahil. No one grieved for him for more than a bloody night! RD went off to acting loony in his mom's office, Sanyukta acted like a kid left in a toy store (with a smartphone, given the random selfie craze), and VidArth just went about like nothing had changed. Erm, hello?! He was close to ALL of you? Could you at least be a bit somber? Like what nonsense is this?!

9. RD's family. Did they conveniently disappear after RD tried to single handedly murder everyone in their company?

10. The show is about women empowerment, yes. But no firm treats their interns in such a manner. Also, if all of their interns are SO incompetent, I'm surprised that none of them are fired yet. I'd wanna work in such a place; if nothing else, it'd look good on my resume. No really.

There's so much more I have to say, but unfortunately, stochastic modelling is behaving like a needy bf who needs my attention. But yeah, SHQ's officially gone down the drain, really. They need to pull up their socks and redeem the show, cause there's nothing great about being the top youth show on a channel that airs 3 shows, out of which one doesn't even do well.

Effing writers need to be creative and not be lazy and recycle the same shit ..I am pissed at the writers.

This show has gone down the drain . The internship program could have lot of potetial if only the writers had an ounce of brains.

the show has now transformed into a mere piece of crap .. With the characters changing their colours like chameleons , students setting an example for what exactly shouldn't be done and the best part is Cv's think we love their show .. wow ..ain't that great !

You still haven't given up on it? Well I did,atleast on the visual torture and I can assure you what a bliss it is.
As you said,yeah,she is a magnet for the MCPs and plus she's the guinea pig for God too. As she said in yesterday's epi.and she tackles those so tactfully.Way to go,girl! Move over Catwoman,Sanyukta Superwoman is here.The 'empowered' Sanyukta who'll whine,wail and complain through every single thing in life.And is it her fault really ? Poor girl,is given the task of driving away chauvinism from the planet.I pity her burdensome life sometimes you know.
Coming to the other girls,Kaustuki never existed for me.and just when I was beginning to love Vidushi for her honesty,intensity and consistency,they brought in Varun and killed everything good about her..And she's back to square one. RIP creativity,sensibility etc. etc. etc.

Coming to the inconsistency of the tracks,Jiggy's death was the final nail in the coffin for me.And not just the coffin ones that you mentioned.What happened to Kaustuki when Jiggy died? She didn't even bother to call up and find out,vardhan's father popped in and out like a 5 sec ad,nothing happened to Yoyo-Kaustuki other than photo frame romance,Vardhan and his DT vanished into thin air,random people and even guys with criminal records like Rana get appointed and walk into FITE at their own sweet will and so on.

And finally Randhir. And that's where it hurts the most. You've seen them build his character beautifully,made you fall head over heels in love with him,made you yearn for a bf like him and then butchered him into bits and pieces at one blow. Even watching the older episodes or 1000s of other future lovey-dovey scenes of a protective Randhir cannot redeem him. The picture of that Randhir who tore the changing room curtain apart shall continue to haunt every single Sadda Haq fan. Period.

All I wish is that the show had ended last year itself. I see no ray of hope,even remotely. Period.
