She was seated on her vanity, facing her mirror with tears in her eyes - she did not want to marry Sameer and she was praying for her dream to come true - the dream where she dreamed that Randhir would take her away from all of this.
Oh how she wanted to marry a machine - and even Randhir opened up a door for her there when she fell in love with him. He would let her live her dream, if only he would make her his.
But when he found out the truth about her marriage with Sameer, he had broken all ties with her completely, leaving her alone and helpless to the point where she had no choice but to wear red today.
"Sanyukta, come on," she heard a familiar voice say from behind her.
She turned around, shocked, as she saw him jump in through the window. It was the person she had been craving to see - oh, how she had desired to hear him speak to her again.
"Randhir?" Sanyukta asked, her mouth wide open.
He looked at the most beautiful sight he had seen in his entire life - Sanyukta in bridal attire, adorning heavy jewelry and bridal makeup.
They both stared at each other for a while, both of them shocked to see the other one.
Finally snapping out of his reverie, he smiled sheepishly at her.
"I didn't know you could look this beautiful," he teased, as if nothing had gone wrong between them.
She looked down and blushed as he took her hand in his and intertwined their fingers together.
"Randhir I thought you were mad at me," Sanyukta said, her heart beating quickly, feeling goosebumps erupt all over her body as his skin made contact with hers.
They heard a knock on their door.
"Sanyu?" Sanyukta's mom called from outside and Sanyukta looked up fearfully at Randhir.
"I was mad and I still am," he snapped, forcing himself to look angry, "But I'll show you my anger after I free you from this wedding."
Sanyukta smiled happily, forgetting that her mom was outside, forgetting that their time was limited, as he took her hand - she knew that his anger was just a facade and he came as her knight in shining armour to save her from this wedding. She had full faith now that nothing would happen to her. Not when she had her protector beside her.
"I'll only go with you on one condition," she said, forcing herself to look serious.
He looked at her, as if he couldn't believe what he heard. "What? Are you mad?" he asked as her mom knocked on the door again.
"Tell me you love me," she said, smirking victoriously.
"No!" Randhir yelled stubbornly.
"I'm coming in Sanyu," her mom called from outside.
"Randhir, think about it," she said with a smirk.
"I love you," he yelled desperately and pulled her towards the window.
She felt a faint blush creep up on her cheeks - even though she already knew this truth, her heart still leaped upon hearing his confession.
"I love you too," she replied, as they climbed down the pipe together.
He ignored her confession, but she noticed the features on his face soften up as he dragged her towards his motorbike.
She rested her face on his back and circled her arms around his waist.
As they drove into the horizon, there was just one thing playing in her mind: He was her Ram, her Prince, her Randhir. And whether Randhir admitted it or not, they were going to live happily ever after. That was something she had already pre-decided for them.
