Why is Sanyukta's family getting her married before Ankit gets married? Isn't it tradition that the older one gets married first (at least that's how it is in the south). Toh does anyone know why it's like this?

Girl's family gets her married by 20 i guess

i dont know a lot about all this

Well, usually girls are married off first.

Because in most of Indian families if girl is of marriageable age then she is got married first

Her family meaning her parents. I thought Ankit was older no. I mean she always calls him bhaiyya and in the first few episodes of the show she was saying ki at least aapki tarah fail nahi hui to her bro.

hmm not necessarily... I'm originally from Mumbai and in my family it's tradition that the girls in the family always get married first..., unless there's a fairly large age gap between a girl and her older brother... if that makes sense
