Hey poeple :) Well, here is my 11th chapter :D

Now, this I would like to dedicate to my dear friend Pari (gujjupari) who has never failed to bring a smile on my face with her sweetness!

Secondly, this chapter is also dedicated to Mahak (MAHAK1234) as she has always been a real sweetheart to me :D

Chapter 11 :

He did not get any reply. He had expected this. He tried again, "Hi guys?" he told a bit seriously now expecting a reply from Sanyukta atleast. By yesterday's act he was fully convinced that she did love him even now atleast a little bit and if there was something like that then he thought he would reciprocate it and maximise it.

He sat quietly now. He looked at Jiggy who had a 'I-dont-know' look. He got up to leave but was stopped by a question.

"What are you trying to prove?" Sanyukta asked calmly and got up.
Randhir was confused, "Prove?" he thought and turned around. "Prove what?" he asked.
"Don't play with her feelings Randhir! She has a life and she deserves happiness!" Parth told and got up too.
"And me?" Randhir asked innocently his voice clearly indicating that he is confused.
"You don't derserve anything. You know why? I'll tell you! You're mean, arrogant, a proud ass, a deceptive jerk and a cheater!" Sanyukta told in one go.
"Excuse me?" Randhir told.
"She's right. You are such a shameless creature Randhir. I don't know how on earth I made you my bestfriend! You are a back-stabbing jerk who doesn't respect anyone's feelings or a woman's dignity!" Parth told.
"And I don't know how on earth I loved a person like you and what would you always tell? I respect a woman's dignity?" Sanyukta told mimicking Randhir and crying at the same time.
"Wh...what?" Randhir told his face totally drenched in tears.
"Randhir please get out of our lives! We don't want you by our side. We are happy without you! Please stay away," Parth told.
"Randhir whatever you did that time wasn't enough? You still want to break me?" Sanyukta stammered.
"Randhir change yourself. Please live with some dignity. You have everything except a character. You are a characterless person!" Parth told.
"Wh...what?" Randhir stammered again, only a whisper this time.
"You're asking us what? Oh yeah! You have a freaking wife and a child and being a married man and a father you almost made out with me yesterday!" Sanyukta shouted on top of her voice.

Everyone was startled. Jiggy had sent everyone out of the canteen and made sure no one hears to their conversation. When the fight started he had expected them to fight severely, then hug the life out of the other then cry and forget all the previous misunderstandings. But this is going nowhere. Everyone present there had their jaw dropped. No one spoke a word. They had already forgotten that they had to attend the classes and just sat there silently.

"Married? Child?" Randhir told softly.

"Now don't tell us that you're not married. Stop lying for godsake!" Sanyukta told.
"Sanyukta kya bol rahi ho?" Jiggy asked.
"Jiggy shut up!" Parth shouted.

"Par bhai-" Jiggy started but was interrupted.
"Shut up!" Parth and Sanyukta shouted together.
"Randhir will you now please stay away from our lives and not show your handsome face to us again?" Sanyukta pleaded her tone dripped with sarcasm.
"Please!" Parth repeated.
"Same mistake!" Randhir told softly and walked away. The tears dried away now.

"He is don't know what!" Sanyukta told.
"Was Randhir really my bestfriend?" Parth told crying. He started crying looking at Randhir go. Somewhere deep down in his heart he felt bad for telling all those things but anger, ego, misunderstandings shaded that small part.
"Was he really my love?" Sanyukta shouted and fell on Kaustuki's lap crying uncontrollably. She was broken by yesterday's incident as well as today's.
"Sanyukta? Parth? Don't you'll think you'll told too much?" Kaustuki spoke for the first time in the evening, very softly and totally scared.
Sanyukta got up and, "Kaustu? What are you talking? He deserved it!" Sanyukta told angrily.
"Umm...yeah maybe!" Kaustuki told.

Jiggy just stood there numb. He knew by this time Randhir would be broken - totally. He didn't know what to do. He decided to be with Randhir and went away silently without uttering a word. Kaustuki was silent just caressing her bestfriend's hair. Sahil was dumbfounded by the scene in front of him.

Boys hostel :

Randhir was silently packing his bags. He wasn't crying. He had washed his face. He wasn't Randhir anymore. He was Randhir Singh Shekhawat people always talk about. The tiny amount of feelings or the little heart he had were just crushed a few minutes ago. He was a stone now - a hard cold stone.

Jiggy came in.
"Ra...ran...randhir bhai?" Jiggy told.
"Haan?" Randhir asked normally.
"Aap theek ho?" Jiggy asked bawled by his behavior.
"Haan! Mujhe kya hoga?" Randhir asked.

"Nahi bhai woh...woh canteen mein..." Jiggy told and stopped.

"Canteen? Kya canteen?" Randhir asked.

"Arey bhai woh canteen mein," he told but stopped as he realized Randhir is deliberately avoiding the topic.

"Kuch nahi bhai," Jiggy told.

"Waise bhai I know you don't like to talk about it but can I ask something?" Jiggy told gathering courage.

"Yeah?" Randhir told.

"You were smiling yesterday because of your yesterday's encounter with Sanyukta, weren't you?" he asked.

"Hmm yes!" Randhir replied.

Jiggy was shocked that Randhir had replied without getting angry. He thought of taking advantage of the situation (in a healthy way ofcourse) and to get to know the truth. So he casually started asking more questions.

"Randhir bhai waise Ranveer ka age kya hai?" Jiggy asked.

Randhir stopped his packing and smiled, the mere mention of Ranveer's name could make him smile and get angry at the same time. "Six," Randhir replied.

"Six? Kaise?" Jiggy asked utterly confused.

"One...two...three...four...five...six! Aise," Randhir replied mocking him.

"Arey bhai!" Jiggy told, "chodo, Randhir bhai?" his tone now serious.

"Yes Jiggy? Aur kya jaan na hai?" Randhir asked.

"Truth. Uss time hua kya tha?" Jiggy asked seriously.

" Jiggy bas kar! Bye!" Randhir told now serious.

He zipped his bag and walked out silently after hugging Jiggy just for a second.

"Sorry bhai, main kuch nahi kar saka. Main aapko jaane se rokunga bhi nahi but I promise I will be with you!" Jiggy muttered with tears in his eyes after Randhir left.

Vardhan's cabin :

"Dada, I am going back and please don't stop me because I am not asking you, I am just informing you!" Randhir told.
"Okay bye, I'll come to meet you!" dada told and hugged Randhir tightly.

Randhir was shocked that Vardhan sir had agreed so easily. He noticed tear marks on Vardhan's ace after parting the hug.

"Dada?" Randhir asked.
"Hmm..." dada replied cleaning the tears which made way down his eyes and then pointed out to his laptop. He had seen the whole incident that had taken place in the canteen with the help of the CCTV camera located there.
"Bye dada!" Randhir told and walked but stopped. He came back and as he had noticed something. He went to a shelf and trailed his fingers on a robot. The robot they had made together.

"You still have it?" Randhir asked.

"Hmmm," Vardhan replied looking at his favorite robot.

Randhir abruptly left it and started walking away.

When Randhir was at the entrance,
"Randhir?" dada called out.
"Hmm?" Randhir replied without turning back.
"Sorry," dada told.
"Don't be!" Randhir told and walked away.

Jiggy came back to the canteen to pick take his mobile, he had forgotten it there. Even he decided to go to his house, he needed a break he thought.

"Where are you going?" Kaustuki asked.
"Home!" Jiggy replied and walked off.
"I know why he's going home!" Sanyukta told and walked towards Vardhan's cabin.

She wanted to tell Vardhan that he shouldn't have asked Randhir to come to the reunion; it is because of him that no one is enjoying.

She was outside Vardhan's cabin when she heard Vardhan talking to someone on phone. Something in her urged her to eavsdrop the conversation.

Vardhan was talking to Ranveer.
"Champ I need you to do a favor for me!" Vardhan told.
"Dada bolo. I an do anything!" Ranveer replied with a proud smirk.
"Don't ask Randhir anything about the reunion and behave normally, play with him, tease him and pull his leg like before okay?" Vardhan told.
"Don't ask about the reunion? Why?" Ranveer asked.
"Please don't!" Vardhan told.
"Dada but why?" Ranveer told.
"Do you love your dad I mean senior?" Vardhan asked.
"Obviously!" Ranveer told.
"Do you trust me?" Vardhan asked.
"Yes dada obviously!" Ranveer replied.
"Then without any further questions do as I asked you to!" Vardhan replied.
"But dada?" Ranveer argued.
"Ranveer Singh Shekhawat! Do as I ask you to do! You are only six years old and there are things you will not understand now. Just listen to me and do as I tell you!" Vardhan told angrily.
"Okay fine dada, I am sorry!" Ranveer told.
"Ranveer!?" Vardhan told but Ranveer had already hung up.

Sanyukta after listening to the conversation was numb. "Six years? Ranveer?" she repeated all over again and walked don't know where. She reached the canteen and sat on a chair with her face buried in her hands. Parth approached her.
"What happened?" Parth asked.
"Randhir," Sanyukta told.
"Parth!" Parth told.
"No no. Parth Randhir has a six-year old kid!" Sanyukta told.
"So?" Parth asked clearly not getting what Sanyukta indicated.
"Parth! Randhir has a six-year old kid! How is it possible?" Sanyukta asked.
"What do you mean how it is possible?" Parth asked lamely.
"Parth what is our age?" Sanyukta asked.
"Twenty-fivvv...wait how can he have a six-year old kid?" Parth asked the same question back.
"That is what I asked you!" Sanyukta shouted.
"Umm..." Parth told while making useless calculations in his mind.
"Only one person can give us the answer to this question!" Sanyukta told and started walking that way. Parth followed her.

Vardhan's cabin :

Vardhan sir was inside his cabin alone; he had called a guard and had asked him to stop everyone and anyone to come inside his cabin even if it was the dean himself. He warned him that no one should enter into his cabin or else his job would be in danger. Sanyukta and Parth were stopped by the guard outside.

"Aap andar nahi jaa sakte!" the guard told.

"Please bhaiya, bohot important hai!" Sanyukta pleaded.

"Nahi, mujhe strict orders diye gaye hai ki main kisi ko bhi andar nahi jaane de sakta chahe woh dean sir hi kyu na ho!" the guard said.

"Please bhaiya? Life and death ka sawal hai!" Sanyukta told.

"Kya?" the guard asked confused.

"Mera matlab hai ki jeene marne ka sawal hai!" Sanyukta told.

"Nahi jaane dunga nain aapko!" the guard told firmly.

Parth who was silent all this while lost his temper and, "Abey jaane de!" shouted and caught the guard's collar.

"Parth chodo usse!" Sanyukta pleaded, "Uski kya galti hai?"

Parth left the guard's collar who looked horrified. "Sorry!" Parth muttered.

They knew they had no choice but to wait. They sat on the ground outside Vardhan's cabin and leaned on to the wall behind them with their eyes closed.

Meanwhile, Randhir had reached the parking lot. He unlocked his car and crept in after throwing his bags onto the backseat. He sat there numb. He fished for his phone and dialed a number.

"Ravi?" Randhir asked.

"Yes Ravi speaking," the man replied.

"Randhir Singh Shekhawat," Randhir replied with pride dripping out of every word of his name.

"Ye...yes sir?" Ravi stammered.

"Do you remember I asked you to publish an ad in the papers a few days before?" Randhir asked.

"Ye...yes sir," Ravi replied.

"I want it published in the day after tomorrow's edition in all the top magazines and the top papers of India as tomorrow's papers will be already printed. I want a full page ad!" Randhir replied.

"But sir we have to book a slot two days for publishing anything in all the top papers or magazines," Ravi replied.

"What? Can you repeat yourself?" Randhir asked stressing every word angrily.

"Your work will be done sir," Ravi replied scared out of his wits.

"Good. Otherwise, I would have to fire you. I hate people who refuse, think a hundred times before saying a NO' to me," Randhir replied.

"Sorry sir," Ravi replied but Randhir had already hung up.

The lion is back.

Randhir took out his wallet and looked at Ranveer's picture, he kissed it lightly and then his gaze fell upon Sanyukta's picture, he immediately threw his wallet to the backseat and started driving back home.

Meanwhile, Parth and Sanyukta had been waiting outside Vardhan's cabin for an hour now. The guard pitied them but he was helpless. Sanyukta lied down keeping her head on Parth's lap and Parth had kept his hand on her head as though assuring her that everything will be alright. Both were thinking about the same day. The unfortunate day that turned their lives upside down, the day everything broke apart. *The unfortunate time they lost their love/friendship.*

There ends my eleventh chapter :) I know you'll want to kill me because I stopped the update here. 🤣 But thoda suspense toh banta hai, nahi? Everyone is giving cliffhangers. So I thought I will give one myself too. Hope you all liked it! Please let me know what you think guys. I'll be waiting. Bye :)

hey vani, now that was an amaaazing update, i just loved it how you portrayed randhir's inner turmoil, his silence spoke volumes, that really was an amazing update, but i was expecting to know something about their bad past but you stopped at such a great point, i hope next update is gonna reveal all the mysteries, i wonder what advertisement was randhir talking about, i just hope it's not a matrimonial ad lol!!!! plz plz update tomorrow, it will be acompensation for giving us that cliffhanger!!!!
