CHAPTER 7
10:30 pm , boys hostel ,F.I.T.E
parth was tired ... he wanted to go and sleep ... he climbed the giant wall of F.I.T.E ... he made sure that no one was watching him ..he thought to sneake in the room through the window, he could have gone through the door but that would have been dangerous, he did not wanted people to see him like this . apart from randhir and sanyukta no one knew about parth's part time job at night .
parth sneaked in the room ... this was easy for him as his bed was just below the window . suddenly he bumped into something which turned out to be somebody...
parth did not know what that something /somebody was he was confused . then he saw a sleeping pakhi and immediately got UP
OUCH ...! pakhi mumbled in her sleep , suddenly she remembered that this was not her room , as a reflex she woke up to find parth standing next to her .
pakhi : GOD ! tum mera peecha karte karte yaha tak aa gaye .. uff aab kya hai ? dekho mujhe tumse dar to nahi laag raha hai par just for your information i am BLACK BELT in KUNG FU , KARATE , TAIEKWANDO , wushu , judo and 52 other dangerous sounding names . so koi asie waise harkat karne se pehle 100 baar soch lena -_-
parth : tumhara dimag bachpan se hi kharab tha ya fir bare hone ke baad
hua ? excuse me ye mera room hai ... mai nahi tum mera peecha
kar rahi ho .
pakhi : WHAT THE HELL ! out of so many boys tum hi mile the
jise randhir bhai ka room mate banane ko . aur tum to raat me nahi hote na to fir aaj kaise ?
parth : hemm hai yo ermm mera kaam aaj jaldi khatam ho gaya tha to
isiliye ...
pakhi : accha ! itne raat ko kaun sa kaam karte ho ?
parth : tumhe kyu batau ? aapne kaam se kaam rakho . mind your own
business -_- aaur tum yaha kya kar rahi ho ? where is randhir ?
pakhi told everything to parth ...
parth : par itne raat ko wo dono kya kar rahe hai ?
pakhi : (blushes) BEWKOOF ... aab sab kuch mai hi batau ? aapna dimag hai ki nahi ?
parth stood what she meant and was embarrassed for asking such a stupid question .
parth : hmmm aacha chalo tum so jao waise bhi kaal bahot se lectures attend karne honge ...
pakhi : mai to so hi rahi thi par tum pata nahi kaha se aake mere upar
gir gaye aur meri neend toot gayi . aab mujhe need nahi aayegi -_-
ye saab tumhare karan hi huya hai to aab tum bhi jage raho aur mujhe company do .
parth : ufff tumhari problem kya hai ? so jao na aakh band karke . mujhe to bahut neend aa rahi hai ...FINE .. tumhe jo karna hai karo mai chala sone .
pakhi : over smartness mat dikhao -_- . kaha na tumhe jagna parega mujhse aaj tak kisi ne aise argue nahi kiya .tum bhi na karo to tumhare liya aacha hoga .
now parth was hell irritated but he felt happy somewhere as well . he was excited .. now he can watch (stare ) her for about 6 -7 hrs .
so he agreed to pakhi and started minding his business which was to steal glances at her when she was not watching .
pakhi took her phone and started playing games .
about half an hour passed ... suddenly pakhi stood up .
parth : what happened ?
pakhi : wo mai tumhare sath ek selfie click kar loo kya ?
parth : KYA ? tum sach mai mental hospital se aayi ho na ? itne raat me
selfie click karke kya karogi ?
pakhi : wo mujhe aapne instagram par dalni hai ek selfie isiliye ... please?
parth : theek hai chalo ... click kar lo ...
pakhi : AISE thore hi click karungi ... pehle acche se aapne baal set karo
aur face was karke aao ...
parth : WHAT THE HELL ! mujhe nahi click karwani hai koi selfie ..
ek to mai ready hu click karwane ko wohi bahut bari baat hai upar se face wash huh -_-
pakhi : arrey to kya hua ?face wash karne ko hi to keh rahi hu koi mount everest climb karne ko thore hi jo tum itne nakhre dikha rahe ho chalo theek hai mat click karwao tum koi ranbir kapoor thore hi ho jo mai maari ja rahi hu tumhare saath selfie click karne ko -_-
parth : accha ek baat batana sach sach ... tum sach me MIT ki topper ho ?
pakhi : ha hu to ? tumhe koi problem hai kya ?
parth : nahi bas asie hi maine to suna tha ki MIT duniya ka best engineering collage hai aur world ke best students waha padhne aate hai ... par waha ho tum jaise pagal log bhi top kar jate hai
pakhi : NOT FUNNY -_- ! bahut bekar joke tha ... anyway tumhare pas khane ke liye kuch hai kya mujhe bahut bhook lagi hai !
parth : mera pura dimaag khane ke baad bhi bhukh lagi hai ? kitna
khati ho tum ?
pakhi : jo kaam karne nahi aata wo kyu karte ho ? jokes marne aata hi nahi aur bar bar try kiye ja rahe ho ! idiot eve teaser
parth starts reading a book but he is confused...
path : KITNA confusing hai !
pakhi :someday everything will make perfect sense . so for now laugh at the confusion smile through the pain and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason
parth : YE KYA THA ?
pakhi : hahaaa ye to ek quote tha jo maine internet par padha tha ... par agar tumhe meri help ki jarurat hai to am ready for it .
parth : hmmm to mujhe computational fluid dynamics ke bare mai explain karogi ?
pakhi :sure ! Computational fluid dynamics, is a branch of fluid that uses numerical methods and algorithms to solve and analyse problems that involve fluid flows.
she explains everything to parth and parth was impressed appearances are deceptive ... he thought ! this girl is a genius ! pakhi spend about 2 hrs in explaining each detail of computational fluid dynamics to parth . now they both were feeling sleepy .
solve this question and show me fast ... pakhi ordered
parth tried solving the question but he was stuck
parth : hmm i don't think i would be able to ...
he saw pakhi had already slept .
she looks like an angel while sleeping .. maybe that's the only time when she is quiet he chuckled ... he picked pakhi in her arms from the study table and placed her on randhir's bed ...
he went up .. switched off the lights and slept on his bed . that was the first night after the fateful day on which arpita left him that he slept so peacefully with a smile on his face .
certainly pakhi had a strange aura and field around her which was affecting him .

he was first to wake up . he saw her sleeping ... he felt happy for some known - unknown reasons ... she was sleeping with her mouth half opened .. he went up to her and closed her mouth ... she caught his hands and mumbled in sleep " khana kya bana hai " parth laughed at this ... she must be hungry that's why she is dreaming about food . he freed his hands from her grip . he sat next to her ... she smells strawberries ... he said to himself ...
chalo pakhi ... jaldi karo ... nahi to tumhe koi dekh lega !
only 2 minutes stella i'll come to the class you go . she said .( stella was her room mate at MIT .)then she remembered that stella did not know to speak hindi . she woke up as a reflex and asked *KON HO TUM ?*
parth laughed at this
she then remembered everything about last night .
pakhi : wo sorry mujhe laga ki ...
parth : ki mai stella hu ?
pakhi : ha ! par abhi to 6 hi baag rahe hai ... itne subeh kyu utha diya
parth : arrey tum agar jaldi nahi nikli to tumhe koi dekh lega aab jaldi se fresh ho jao aur niklo ..
pakhi : hmm theek hai ...
she gets ready to go ... chalo phir bye she said and left .
parth kept looking at her until she was out of sight .
