A/N - Here I m,back with the second part of this TS - A walk to remember...I dont know why but this title is so very close to my heart...
One of my favourite movie,n one of the best books i have ever read...So this OS too is close to me...
On more special thing about this part is that,its been penned down our one of the popular writers of the forum - Preetika - i.e. DamselinDistress...
I was a bit too busy to finish this TS,but Preetika wrote it,n indeed very beautifully...Thanx a tonn for it Preetu🤗...You are the budding writter with creative perspective n flawless command over language...

Jo de rooh ko sukoon ke pal

Randhir n sanyukta had been walking past an hour...
Not at all uttering anything , except for stealing a few glances at each other...
But this time the silence wasnt that awkward...
The whole time she was getting flashbacks ... Shaking her head ,,. Remembering those fateful days when she and RANDHIR had one , too many words to say ,, no ,,, to throw at each other ,...
It was the agenda of the day for them,,,daily
To insult each other ,, to see other in pain...
And now was the time ,... When both of them were at loss for words,,,
It was dark ... But the full moon was giving of enough light...
Enough light for him to emblaze her every feature into his memory,..
As if he needed someone to tell him how she looked,,,
Her face was imprinted in his heart.
Every time he closed his eyes...he could only see her ...
She had been haunting his dreams past the month...
The breeze was chilly ,.. Sending shivers down her spine,,,,
They didn't knew where they were...
Randhir could see her discomfort,...
He started openening his shirt ...
Her eyes widened,,,.
'Chill farzi ,, I mean no harm.. At least not this time'' he smiled sadly and passed on his shirt to her,,,
That smile didn't reach his heart.., she didn't fail to notice it...
She shook her head...
He walked towards her ,,.
Her heart was threatening to betray her ...
He enfolded her in it..,
For a second there sanyukta was sure he could hear her heart,,,but he moved away,,...
As if afraid that she could hear his,,..
The breeze had risen to a moaning wind,,.
The clouds were on the verge of bursting
But they were so drown in each others eyes that both of them failed to notice it...
Sanyukta was feeling really awkward now... She thought of breaking the ice ,,,
''Kitni ajeeb baat hai na ki m spending the last hour of my free life with my enemy'' she joked,..
She wanted to lighten the mood ..
She knew randhir was behaving differently, awkwardly...
She wanted to know why he had called her,...
She wanted him to speak ,.
He froze,..
The words were so painful.,.
''ENEMY'' it came out more as a dejection...more as a whimper... More as a sad acceptance...
His face contorted in pain...
She saw his reaction and at once regretted her words,,,
''Randhir ... I ...''
''Its not fault sanyukta,,,, how can it be ... When I was the one ... Who fixed you ,,, marri-" he couldn't complete it ...
Couldn't complete the word,,,
Couldn't be sorrier ...
He turned back...
He couldn't look into her eyes anymore...
She had the power to break him ,.. He wanted her to shout on him...
But she was silent...
He was hating the fact that she stopped blaming him ...
At least it was acceptable,,,
It started pouring,,,
The next second it started teeming...
He dissapered ...
''Randhir'' she shouted flapping her hands aimlessly...
''Randhir!!"" No response,,,.
She was dripping wet...
''RANDHIR"" where are you''
She was scared stiff!
'Randhir '''
She was crying ,,, crying like a child,,,
''Boo'' came a voice from behind her...
Her heart was in her throat...
She turned back and there he was ...,
Not seeing him for five minutes made her loose her mind.,,
''HAHAHA...look at you farzi!"
He was giggling like a child,,,
She was flushed,..
She grabbed his collar ...
''WHAT THE HELL!
TUM SAMJHTE KYA HO APNE AAP KO HA! ''
he lost balance ...so he gripped her waist to steady them...
''I was just trying to make you laugh'' he whispered
''YOU THINK I WILL BE HAPPY SEEING YOU GO AWAY FROM ME''
' you are going to do just that tomorrow farzi' his voice broke ..
'I - '
She let go of him ,,,
She couldnt afford this now,,.
She had to block her emotions,,.
'' I don't know what you are saying... Let's go back... Its raining ,., I cannot afford to get sick''
She flushed away...
He was heart broken...
''Ouch'' she tripped on a stone,,, everything was so godamn slippery!
''Sanyukta'' he rushed towards her,,,
And picked her in his arms...
''UTARO!!"
'shut up''
''I SAID UTARO!!!"
'I said shut up'
He started walking ,,,
She was scared.. Scared her heart would give away..,
The rain had made it impossible to walk ,,, but he made sure she was safe,,,,.
He kept walking ,..,
They both were drenched,..
He was already shirtless ,,,.
He couldn't stop the chattering of his teeth,,.
' randhir tumhe thandi lag rahi hai''
'I know'
'' take your shirt back'
'I would rather die of pneumonia than to see you sneezing' he whispered softly,...
That was it,., she couldn't stop her tears..,,
Couldn't deny her love for him ,..
Curling up a ball in his arms ... She whispered those three words ever so softly that she couldn't hear it herself,,,
''Me too farzi'' he kept walking ...
They didn't knew what was going to happen the next day ...
But one thing was sure ... it was a walk they would remember and cherish FOREVER!
