Naw, just kidding! I shall write as I read, so pardon my sudden outbursts and resultant embarrassment! Here I go! :D
Jab Tak Hai Jaan! :')
A race between two water droplets? Aww! I'm unapologetically a pluviophile, so I love everything related to the rain! :')
His tears and the rain were crying for each other? :')
He started writing?! Isn't there something just SO romantic about a guy writing?? :')
Shy introvert and outgoing beauty? Majja aa gaya! :D
Pari, the transitions in the story with each stanza of the poem were just. I can't even! You are in another league altogether, my Gujju ben! :*
She loves the rain too? Yayayyy! He thought the raindrops are his parents' tears? You really had me there, Pari!
In the beginning, I thought she left him for no rime or reason but then reading on, you could have used my tears as memories to be viewed in a Pensieve. Sorry for that HP reference, but love that is unrequited at first and then compromised because of society has a very old rishta with me. I'll tell you that story some other day. So yeah, that's why the memories in the tears!
The way you have written all the flashbacks and the ending, you had me hooked to it all through. What he says in the end was SO full of love yet not one bit cheesy. Her letter was every bit painful as it was loving. That is my favorite kind of love. Fulfilled, secure, NOT cheesy and full of Bollywood romance!
^So sorry about that! Went with the flow! xP
Command over the language, crispness of the writing, your sheer ideas in all matters and basically just YOU! You aren't separate from your stories and they have made me love you! Will you be my Gujju ben forever, Pari? :')
PS. Sorry for the longest comment I may have ever typed! My love for you and your writing totally overpowered me!
