Vishal will be playing the lead, an abducted groom, in Sabki Jodi Wohi Banata Bhagyavidhaata on Colors, which is the bizarre story of forced marriages and kidnapped grooms in Bihar.

"When I was offered this role, I jumped at the opportunity. After winning a reality show, most people end up anchoring shows or get back to their lives or enter other reality shows. I guess I was lucky," says Vishal.
Vishal will play Vinay Sinha, a young, handsome and spoilt young man with a family that dotes on him. Vinay's character may be that of a rogue, but he has a clean heart. However, his flamboyant personality usually ends up overshadowing his goodness. Vinay is abducted and forced to marry Bindiya, the protagonist of the show. The show deals with how this forced alliance changes the lives of the characters.

Speaking about the role, Vinay says, "It is not only different, but also very challenging. To be able to portray such a complex character in my debut serial is incredible. The very idea of a man being abducted and forced to marry at gunpoint sounds bizarre, and to portray it on screen is easier said than done. However, I am looking forward to knowing what people think about the show and me."
