Awesome run-down of characters there, Yuks and thanks for helping :))) Here's my version:

Post-Leap:

Purva: She is the daughter of SP Arjun who lost his life while saving Vinay. She was adapted & raised by Bindiya as per her father's wishes.

Mamta: She is the daughter of Raja & Rekha ji. Raja is in jai while Rekha ji passed away.

Sakshi: She is the student of Bindiya but most importantly, she ends up being her daughter-in-law as she gets married to Vinay & Bindiya's son, Suraj.

Suraj: Since he was snatched away with force by Akhilesh and PPW in the childhood, he has been raised in an environment where Bindiya is considered a bad omen and a bad person. He hates Bindiya and has never met her. He is Bindiya's and Vinay's son actually but considers PPW as his mother even though he knows that his birth mom is Bindiya. He has been raised without any education and without any rights by PPW but he is such a simpleton at heart that he considers PPW as the ultimate source of respect..

Ratan: He is the eldest of all children from Akhilesh-PPW. He gets married to a villager girl, Phool because of fate. He is like his dad and doesnt give a damn about his wife or anything else in life. Likes to exercise power and control over others but deep within, he does have a good heart..

Phool: She is married to Ratan..She is the eldest daughter-in-law of the Sinha Mansion.

Payal: She is the one and only daughter of Akhilesh-PPW. A sweetheart really.

Prem: He is the youngest of all children of Akhilesh-PPW. So 3 kids of their own altogether and one Suraj makes it 4 children post-leap in Sinha household. Anyhow, Prem is the dumber character who wants to become an actor and ends up marrying a wicked woman, Kamini.

Kamini: She is married to Prem and is after Sinha household's wealth and status. Evil character again and should give PPW a run for her money ;)

Damad-ji: Purva is married to a creepy guy who has no respect for women at all. Not sure how she got married to him and why? But I am sure this would be revealed later on ;))

About Bindiya's connection to Sinha household, well..She is still their daughter-in-law.. Her son Suraj has been snatched away from her and raised with the Sinha's and basically, we'll get to see how Suraj's wife Sakshi realizes PPW's games and tricks and then tries to unmask her evil face in front of Suraj and tries to get Suraj reconcile with his birth mom, Bindiya. So the Prasad and Sinha families are still very much connected..

WOW.. thanx a lot... both of the updates are great.. really helped me out.... im really greatful.. jus a suggestion, but i think if u make a new post with the info about the new generation, it will help a lot of other people too.. coz mostly after a leap. different people start watchin the show.. jus a suggestion!!! :)

Can someone please give me a breif update on whats going on?

Last I saw was that Bindya's dad dies and the man is trying to give Bindya a job.
What happened after that?

Anikta: Not much has happened after that.. The guy whose son needed the kidney offered Bindiya a job at one of his businesses since he felt remorse for calling Bindiya's dad at the hospital, which then resulted in his death. Kamini has been trying to get rid of Phool from the house and has asked her to see this fake baba ji because of whom she was able to get Prem's love. Phool is following her orders due to her naive nature. Kamini then plans on attacking Sakshi. She has PPW's support in doing all this. Suraj gets upset at the puja arranged for the passed ones aka Vinay, his grandfather, etc because he thinks about his own birth mother deserting him. Sakshi finds out the truth about PPW and Bindiya when PPW fills Kamini in at just how she snatched Suraj away from Bindiya right after his birth. Sakshi who has been suspecting PPW's bad behavior towards Suraj gets to know that Suraj is not PPW's real son but the son of her lalla ji and she finds out PPW's true colors. I think PPW knows that Sakshi knows the truth. Now Sakshi will try to expose her but Suraj will not believe her at first so that's what's coming up :)

Why was vinay forced to marry bindya?
How did poonam and vimlesh get married? (Love marriage?) And did they have any kids before the leap?
How did vinay die and does akilesh blame bindiya for it?
And what happened to bindya's bhabi?

About your questions, here are the answers:

1. Why was Vinay forced to marry Bindiya?
- Well Bindiya had a few suitors for her but they would all ask for more dowry or other ridiculous demands owing to her not so fair-color, average looks, etc. She was doing her masters when Vinay and Company teased her and her friend.. Not because they liked them but out of ragging done by seniors in college. Anyhow, Bindiya's brother, Raja, was jobless then and got manipulated by some goons and their head Pappu Bhaiyya to become one too. He was able to rectify a sticky situation once where Vinay and friends were teasing Bindiya and he saw it. Anyhow, Bindiya then almost got enaged but it turned out that the dude ran away with his first love interest and Bindiya then tried to commit suicide but was stopped by the family. She was not desperate to get married but she just couldn't bear the pain her family went through because of her not getting married & all. Then Pappu Bhaiyya conspired and convinced Raja to get his sister married to someone via kidnapping the guy and getting them married @ gunpoint - a cultural thing of Bihar in the older days. Not even Bihar but it has been around in many regions there for a while.. Its called "pakroah vivah". Since Pappu Bhaiyya had a score to settle with Vinay's dad, he suggested to kidnap Vinay as the proposed groom and this is how Vinay was kidnapped and then forced to marry her at gunpoint since he was threatened that if he doesn't go through this, his family would be shot dead!

2. How did Poonam & Vimlesh got married?
- After Bindiya's marriage to Vinay, Vimlesh was the only one who saw through how great she was and how she was as much a victim of this marriage as Vinay. He got introduced to Poonam then. They started working together as journalists and this is how they got close and yes, it was a love marriage that happened. No kids were shown out of them before the leap. They apparently left because they couldn't see the family's treatment of Bindiya as a killer of Vinay... But they left before Suraj was born and snatched away or else, I am sure Vimlesh would never had let this happened.

3. How did Vinay die?
- PPW hired some girl to get her stuck in a similar situation of pakroah vivah and set up things so that Vinay rescues her in the nick of the time and brings her home. His relationship with Bindiya at the time was strained due to misunderstandings but he still loved her. PPW then tried to develop a soft corner in Vinay's heart for this girl.. Kanchan was her name. But eventually, everything works out and Vinay and Bindiya reconcile. However, the girl fell in love with Vinay and started playing evil tricks to sabotage Bindiya. She had gone to Bindiya's house to kill her actually but Vinay saved Bindiya by coming in front and getting stabbed himself. This is how he died laying there in Bindiya's lap.

The family considers Bindiya as the cause of Vinay's death because had she not married him initially at gunpoint, all this bad karma surrounding Vinay in his life would not had happened. Everything fell apart after their marriage because their marriage was never meant to be and this is why all fault lies with her forever! As per them at least..

4. Bindiya's Bhabhi aka Rekha ji:
- Rekha ji was the cousin sister of Vinay, Akhilesh and Vimlesh. She was married out of choice with Raja as well. They were doing another pakroah vivah for her this time which she didn't know about but then the guy ran away successfully so Raja, Bindiya's brother, had to step in to save her dignity and get married to Rekha ji. She fell in love with Raja later on after witnessing how kind and respectful he was towards everyone, and esp towards her own mother. Anyhow, Rekha ji passed after delivering their only child, Mamta. She's the grown up girls now who calls bindiya her maasi.

Vimlesh, Poonam and Rekha ji did not want to be a part of the era post leap..This is why the actors quit the show and this is how their exit was directed. Same goes for Vinay who did not want to play the role of an older dad.. Bindiya aka Richa was the only brave one to follow through with the show 😳

As far as I know (I have missed a few episodes here & there but I think I am right in assuming so), Ratan has not accepted his wife just as yet. However, he is not mean to her either. He is like okay with her. She doesn't bother him as much now. Phool, the wife, has done some weird things like cutting out a lock of his hair, etc. under the influence of the wicked Kamini who asked her to do this to win Ratan's love. But over all, there is no bad blood in b/w these two. Both live in the same room now. And since the emphasis right now is on Bindiya-Suraj-Raja track, I don't think the story would be moving a lot ahead in near future. But u just never know :)
