He was working in the highly successful The Great Indian Laughter Challenge series and Pol Khol before he called it quits. He wanted to explore newer avenues like music and theatre and he kept his word till a point when he was suddenly drawn to the third season of Laughter Challenge.

Karishma Tanna
Earlier Karishma Tanna had threatened to leave the TV industry that gave her name and fame as Indu in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Then, she worked in lesser known shows like Paalkhi. She decided to quit the small screen only to make a comeback in Ek Ladki Anjaani Si.

Arjun Punj
One fine day Arjun decided that TV is not where he belonged; and so off he went to seek fame in films. Unfortunately it didn't work out for him. He took up Saathi Re and Nach Baliye 2. Once again he wants to get lucky in films… (And so on and so forth...)

Mona Wasu
She had a fantastic debut with Millee which got amazing response from all age groups. The success went to her head and she wanted to move to big screen with no proper roles in hand. Now, she is happy doing cameos appearances on the small screen.

Woah... why are these people quitting TV??? They should take a lesson from the likes of Amar Upadhyay, who now has to play second fiddle to Aman Varma after he quit the role of Mihir in Kyunki that gave him iconic status.

ohho........Arjun punj went out to films.......thts y he had quit saathi re........but an article was posted earlier that he was not satisfied with his role......why did he really quit saathi re????
