Suman is shocked to so see the diya go off at the temle. She doesn't lose hope and challenges God to change his decision. It was her Kundali which had the dosh,why should Rajeev suffer because of it. If God has the right to take away life, then he has the power to reinstate it too. She tells God if he has to take Rajeev's life, then she will die too. She keeps saying she wont let anyone seperate Rajeev from her and God has to give her Rajeev back to her.
At the hospital a nurse walks out, when asked about Rajeev… she says Sorry and walks off. Shalaka breaks into hysteria saying Rajeev was very young to die at this age. The entire family asks her reprimands her saying the doctors are inside and still trying.
Back at the temples, A panditji comes and tells her, if she walks on burning coal, God wont be able to ignore her prayers. Burning/Red hot coal('Angarey' in hindi… cant find a better term😕) is laid out and Suman begins to walk on it. And Miracle happens right away, the doctors's find Rajeev's pulse picking up… they give electric shocks to revive him. Suman is walking on the burning coal (about 5 mtrs or so) Aadesh who had come searching for Suman, is shocked to see Suman do this penance for Rajeev. He reaches her and she has finished by then, she is no state to stand, she keeps muttering Rajeev. Aadesh takes her back to the hospital.
In the hospital, Rajeev's mom realizes Suman is missing, she asks neelabhen where is Suman. Suman's mom says she went somewhere, aadesh has gone to search for her. Shalaka made use of the opportunity and said Suman doesn't care for Rajeev, when he fighting life and death she is away. Just then aadesh brings Suman the hospital, and she faints muttering Rajeev's name. When Suman regains conscious, Aadesh and Chaitali are with her, Suman insists on going to Rajeev saying nothing can happen to Rajeev. Chaitali & Aadesh try to hold her back not giving into her hysteria. In Sheer exhaustion Suman faints again, her feet has blisters all over (her wounds looked really nasty)
The Surgeons attending to Rajeev come out of the operation theater and declares Rajeev is OUT OF DANGER and there is nothing to fear about now. The doctor explains Rajeev's condition was very critical. His heart beats had stopped and they had to administer electric shocks to revive Rajeev. The entire family is thankful to the doctor for having saved Rajeev's life. The Doctor says Rajeev surviving is nothing short of a miracle. It was as if some power had held him back. The doctor searches for Suman and asks the family to inform her that Rajeev was out of danger as she was the one who rushed him in time for medical help and was very upset.
On hearing the doctor, Shalaka mutter under her breath that as if the family wasn't enough to praise Suman, the Doctor also joined in. Aadesh hears this and blasts her off saying no one can expect better from her. He tells the family that Suman walked on burning coal for Rajeev. The entire family is stunned… automatically relate the power the doctor was referring to, to Suman's prayers.
Suman regains consciousness. The entire family is by her side. Her mom tells her that Rajeev is fine and out of Danger. Nani calls suman kalyug's Savitri who fought death and brought her husband out of the clutches of death. Suman feels guilty because Rajeev is in such state because of her Kundali. Rajeev's mom also praises Suman saying with Suman by Rajeev's side she has nothing to fear. All leave asking her to take rest. Her mom stays back with her and tells Suman that today she has fought destiny and has won over it. She is proud of the courage her daughter displayed.
Suman comes to meet Rajeev… he is in the post-operative care unit, hasn't regained conscious as yet. Suman stands at the door and recalls her relationship with Prem… the same visuals begin in reversal showing Suman going away from Prem. She takes each step towards Rajeev remembering their wedding. She tells Rajeev when they got married she was in daze that she never understood the significance of the rituals of marriage which bind two people forever. But today she knows the meaning of the 'Sath Kadam' she took with him was indeed for 'Sath Janam' She says she has broken away from the past and has no significance anymore. Rajeev is her reality and today she realized what True love was all about and she will forever remain Rajeev's. She concludes by saying "I Love You, Rajeev"!😳
