Recap: Suman and Rajiv goes to the mandir. Prem also comes there and he sees who Rajiv is. Suman tells rajiv that they are not going to have husband-wife relationship till they go to Raj rajeshwari, as she took a mannath. Rajiv, with a broad smile, shows respect to suman's request. Suman feels guilty for betraying Rajiv.
Suman, yet again, takes ashirwaad from nanima ( if suman keeps on touching everybody's feet everytime she meets them, pretty soon she will have to use Moov. Rajiv will tell suman 'aao, moov laga du'). As usual there is no end to nanima's demand, she now wants a grandchild. Everybody also forces Rajiv and suman to have a child ( discussing such a topic so openly. believe me, the discussion was not well portrayed).Rajiv tells that they will think about this later, as of now Suman wants to continue her further studies. His father supports him whole-heartedly. Rajiv's chacha comes and informs that they got the new project and as usual all the credit goes to Suman (the lakshmi of the house). Shalaka gets all jealous.
Prem tells his friend that he can't believe that rajiv is rajiv. When he was abroad he thought that he would take help from rajiv to stop suman's marriage. But little did he know that whom he considered as friend will give him the greatest sorrow. Prem's friend simply moves from this topic and starts talkinkg in a different direction, he says that Prem should forget 'bewafa suman'. That she and rajiv are staying in the same room, in the same bed, so how long can she maintain the distance ( doesn't know that our suman has been inspired by Humraaz and Rajiv by hum dil de chuke sanam). Prem asks him to shut up. His friend tells him to think practically. Prem is all upset but he has faith on Suman.
Here suman's mom and a woman (i don't know her name) talks about suman and the pakhfera rasam.
Suman thinks that she is betraying rajiv and that she cannot keep up with the lies anymore. She decides to tell Rajiv everything. Thus, when Rajiv comes in the room she tells rajiv eveything. Rajiv gets all angry and frustrated. He literally drags suman downstairs (where his dad, devki and nanima are present) and calls her liar, etc ,and tells everyone the truth. Nanima faints hearing all the stuffs and rajiv grabs suman's neck and tries to choke her ( by the way suman was looking very pretty in this scene, wearing a light blue sari with silver work on it).
Alas, its all a dream. Instead of rajiv, suman was strangling herself. Devki comes there and asks suman that what is she doing and why is she crying and perspiring. Devki then tells that maybe she is missing her parents ( what a lame excuse. who the hell will choke oneself if they are missing their parents). At that moment rajiv's dad calls out for Devki and suman.
They go downstairs and it is suman's dad, who has come to take her home for the 'pakhfera'. Later on it is decided that suman's father will stay here for one night and then will take suman with him. nanima asks suman to make something sweet for everyone.
Suman is taken to the kitchen and there rajiv's annoying sister comes. Suman asks her that what does everyone like. She gives poor suman a long menu. Then she laughs and tells that suman should make kheer, which everybody likes especially rajiv. she then leaves and shalaka comes in. Shalaka talks with suman very sweetly and sends her to bring dry fruits for the kheer. suman goes and taking advantage of that opportunity shalaka puts lots of sugar in the kheer ( by the way, rajiv doesnt like very much sugar and his father is not allowed to have very sweet things). she then gives an evil smile.
