Damini kaki gives the shagun to Suman who takes it sadly but suddenly the mobile rings it Prem on the line and the thali falls from her hand and all are shocked to see that the shagun is fallen down. Suman is shocked to see the thali down and seeing Prem name on her mobile. Shalakha tells everybody that this is ab shagun. There are other ladies who also say the same thing. But Nani tells there is no ab shagun. The next lady will be her own mother and Suman mother gets up and puts tikka on her forehead and Suman is sad and Chaitali just cant bear the agony her sister is going through. Everybody is sitting in the living hall and discussing regarding engagement and Chaitali tell that regarding engagement. Suman dad looks at Chaitali with a surprised and astonished expression. Chaitali fumbles on her sentences when she sees her dad and looks at Suman and Suman nods and goes crying from there. One of the family members tells that look at this generation also the girls are very shay and Suman's parents smile. Rajiv's dad asks his brother to find out which would be the shub day for the engagement. His brother sees the some paper and tells that Sunday would be a good day for the engagement. Everybody agrees.
Suman is in her room and she starts crying. Chaitali tells Suman it is no use crying. We better tells our parents before it become too late. Once the wedding is fixed. We wont be able to do anything. Chaitali tells Suman to call Prem and tell to come to back to India. Suman is about to dial the number but then she says No I wont do it. I can't disturb him. He is studying right now. Chaitali tells Suman that you have to tell him to come. Even you are not able to speak to dad at least tell Mom everything. Suman tells her that I wont tell anyone now and we are staying in some else house. We will be in this house for a day or two and then we will be back in Mumbai. I will tell Mom everything. And they both hug each other and show Suman is in tears.
Suman and her family are leaving for Mumbai and Suman mother and Rajiv's mother hug each other. Ketki tells Suman mother that now very soon Suman will be our bahu. I want you to immediately send her as a bahu as soon as possible. Suman takes blessing from Nani so does Suman mother. Suddenly Rajiv sis comes to Suman and tells her that I want to talk to you alone and she pulls her to one side and tells that how can you leave alone. I want you to talk to Rajiv bhaiya. She gives the phone to Suman and Suman reluctantly takes the phone and tells hello. Rajiv tells her that I was hoping to see but I believe you are going to Mumbai. But not a problem. Very soon I will be in Mumbai and we can meet there. Adesh who sitting next to Rajiv in a car coughs and gives a lage raho style. Rajiv looks at him and smiles and Suman tells him that I want to speak to you something. It is very important for you to know. Rajiv ok I will come to your place and we will talk. Suman say no please don't come to my place, as I wont be comfortable to speak in front of my family. Rajiv says fine, I will come to Mumbai then we will meet outside. Till then you take care. Suman mother calls for Chaitali and Suman and tells them not to waste time coz they have to catch the train. Suman tells bye to Rajiv and cuts the phone. Suman tells bye to everybody and Shalakha looks at her angrily as they leave. Adesh tells Rajiv and teases him that we should open our branch in Mumbai also. Rajiv says why. Adesh tells that before the marriage at least you can be in Mumbai and meet bhabhi every time. You can tell everyone that you have to go to Mumbai for business and won't be able to makes bahanas. Rajiv blushes.
At home, Suman is sad about everything. When Chaitali tells her that why are you sad? Why don't you tell Mom? Did you not make a promise to someone and them Suman remembers the moments with Prem. Chaitali says this is for you and Prem has sent it. Suman is happy to receive the parcel and opens it. It a cd and tells it a VCD and then put the cd and stitches on the TV. Prem appears on the TV and Suman smiles. Prem tells this is the room, which I am staying. He shows that bed and tells that this is the bed where I sleep and then shows his laptop and tells this is the place where I study. And then shows his coffee machine and tells that without this the day does not go. Suman on her own and tells what about your food and immediately Prem tell food. Yeah there is an Indian restaurant over here and I like the food and I keep going down every time. Suman smiles.
In US, Prem comes to the Indian restaurant and the waiter waits for his orders and Prem tells him to bring biryani and the biryani has to be very spicy. After sometime, the waiter offers him biryani and Prem tastes the food and the biryani is bland. He sees that there is person's back that Prem sees as he is not able to see the person face and this person is shouting at the waiter for bringing in very spicy food. The waiter looks at Prem and understand his mistakes and apologizes Rajiv. Prem looks at the waiter who did the adla badli and tells hello to that person and the person turns around and it turns to be Rajiv. Prem smiles and tells that why don't you join me for the dinner as I have to eat all alone. Rajiv smiles and comes and sits in front of him. Before sitting, both of them shake hands and the camera is focused on the handshake of both of them. Prem tells that why don't we mix both the biryani? Rajiv says sure why not and Prem does the mixing and gives some food to him. Rajiv tastes the food and likes the different variation. The waiter asks them if they want anything more. They both say Dahi. Prem say that some of our taste is different but this one is the same. Prem asks Rajiv what was he doing here and did he comes to restaurant now and then. Rajiv tells him that I had come here for a business tie up and I was bored of the meeting and I wanted to be on my own and came here to eat at this restaurant. Prem tells that I am studying over here. But I have feeling you are getting homesick. Rajiv says yeah maybe I missing India and Prem says me too I wish I was there. And both of them think of Suman and flashback of the moments. While Suman is show tensed up thinking of Prem and watching his cd and sad. Then they show Suman standing in the middle and sad and both of Rajiv and Prem snap at her side. Rajiv then gets up and tells that I have to go when you are back in India give me a call. We will meet and gives Prem the card and reads his business card and smiles and Rajiv leaves the restaurant.
Suman is sitting in the living room and the phone rings and she picks up the phone and Rajiv tells how are you? Suman says who is calling? Rajiv tells you said you wanted to talk to me. That is why I called and wanted to meet you and Suman says Rajiv and Rajiv smiles and tells where you want to meet me and Adesh, Chaitali, Suman and Rajiv are sitting in a restaurant and no one is talking. Rajiv with his eyes tells Adesh to take Chaitali and leave them alone. Adesh gets it and tells Chaitali that come we both will go outside and have ice cream. Chaitali tells that this restaurant has ice cream and Adesh tells to understand and leave them both to talk. And takes her out. Chaitali and Adesh both leave and Suman starts telling that the reason I have called is very important and I need you to know this. The reason is and Rajiv mobile rings. Rajiv picks up the call and is shocked and he gets up and say we will reach there as soon as possible. Rajiv calls out to Adesh and tells him to come over here. Rajiv tells Adesh that we have to leave bcoz Nani is not keeping well and she has been admitted to the hospital. Rajiv tells Suman that we will talk later and we will leave now, as Nani is sick. Suman is tensed and Rajiv and Adesh leave and Chaitali asks Suman did she tell Rajiv everything? Suman I did not even get a chance and Suman is sad and tensed.
At home, all are sitting at the table for dinner. Suman father tells that we have the engagement on Sunday; I have invited few people only. Suman' mother tells that they have just given limited time and we cant call everyone. Suman father tells that not to worry, I will be inviting a few and Suman is sad and Chaitali gets frustrated and looks at Suman. Suddenly the phone rings and Suman father gets up and picks up the phone. He is shocked and tells ok. Fine with me. Ok then Sunday. And puts down the phone and goes with a shocked face to the dining table and Suman's mother came and ask what happened? Suman father tells that Nani is very sick and she is admitted to the hospital and there is more problem to it. Suman says that maybe we postpone the engagement. Suman father tells that they have cancelled the engagement on Sunday. But instead of the engagement, they want Suman and Rajiv to get married on Sunday. Suman mother, and Chaitali is shocked and ends the serial with Suman getting shocked and nodding a no….
