Devoleena to EXIT, Giaa to get BACK as Gopi in Saathiya post leap

Some things are made exclusively for you...as much as the world tries; you can never part from it.

This has come true for one of TV's most loved actress Giaa Manek.

The petite actress, who rose to stardom with Saath Nibhana Saathiya playing Gopi, will soon be back to her show...her character!

As per recent reports, with the show all set to take a generation leap, the current Gopi bahu, Devoleena Bhattacharjee is not too keen to continue. The pretty girl was quoted saying that she wouldn't look apt playing such an old character and would thus move out.

With this, the makers (Rashmi Sharma) and the channel (Star Plus) were put in a soup. They thus decided to reach out to Giaa, who readily agreed to move back to the show that built her career.

Shared a source, "With Devoleena not agreeing to continue, Rashmi Sharma called up Giaa and asked her to meet her. Although initially apprehensive, Giaa met them over coffee and they spoke at length about their past differences. The meeting although started of as a heated one, thankfully ended happily with a smile and a hug."

"Giaa will soon sign the contract and in most probability start shooting in a couple of weeks," added the source.

Giaa has also asked the producers for a chance to speak to Devoleena, so that there is no bad blood between them.

As viewers would know, after Giaa chose to participate in Jhalak, she was asked to leave Saathiya. Post that, she successfully got back with Jeannie Aur Juju but quit it after a brief period.

When we called Giaa she stated, "I have no clue what you are talking about."

Devoleena and Rashmi Sharma too refused to talk about the matter.

Gia made Gopi sweet and likeable where as this Gopi comes across as smug and hard.

Hope this is April fool joke,

I'm really not happy about this. I don't want another leap! They have had enough leaps this is too much now! The current time they are in is great and they still have a lot of tracks to show, there shouldn't be any need of a leap. And I've started to get used to Devo as Gopi especially since I really like the wy she portrays strong Gopi. Though I don't have any problem with Giaa, I don't know how she'll handle strong Gopi.
