Part 20

Krishna: I know your family has been playing cricket during college days & while studying in USA too.
Radha: Yes, we were playing cricket but don't know whether I will get the permission now.
Krishna: Of course you can play. You can also represent your company.

At MM all are relaxing and watching the match. Savita comes to MM and invite the Modi family to play cricket. Kokila graciously accepts the invitation. There is a separate team for ladies & gents. Even the elderly men and women are free to participate if they have the confidence to play.

On the ladies side,
Gopi asks Kokila & Hetal, "Can you please join us? We are only 3 of us. Even Radha is not there." Kokila said, "We can't play now as our reflexes are not as quick as before and I cannot run. I'm overweight. But I will try my best. We have to win at any cost. We have a day to practice."

Gopi, said, "Yes, we have to practice."

From the gents side, Ahem too faces the same problem. Only he and Jigar are strong after which they can only rely on Dhawal.

Ahem requests Chirag and Parag to join him. Both agree.

Both the families practice hard. From the ladies side it is Gopi, Rashi and Kinjal who are strong and from the gents, it is Ahem, Jigar and Dhawal. Match begins. Ladies go to the ground first. Savita wins the toss and decides to bat. The first two ladies enter and start smashing all the bowlers. Rashi and Gopi finally take their wickets. The rest of them are unable to sustain for a long time. Their final score is 65 in 10 overs. Now it is Modi's turn. The Modi men wish best of luck to the women.

Kokila asks Gopi and Rashi to open and said,"We have to win the match at any cost. Gopi, it is important for you to be till the end and Rashi, you too should not get out." Both go to the ground. Gopi and Rashi smashes all the bowlers left, right and center. However, Savita's team play a spoilsport and Rashi gets run out. Kinjal is the next. The score is 30. They have to score 36 more in remaining 6 overs.

Gopi said, "Kinjal, now you have to play well as all others are tailenders. Please watch the ball carefully and play." Kinjal said, "Don't worry, I will play." Kinjal hits six in the first ball she faces and two boundaries before she gets caught. The score is 44. Gopi now gets apprehensive and looks up to the sky. Next is Hetal who has to face. Gopi tells, "Kaki, try to take a single and give me the strike." Hetal takes one run." Gopi faces the ball and hits 2 sixes of 2 balls she faces. Hetal suddenly feels dizzy and the Modi's ask for the third runner. Panna is Gopi's & Rashi's common friend and agrees to be a third runner. Hetal is just able to hit the ball gently but Gopi and Panna run through the singles very quickly. Finally Hetal gets out. The last is Kokila.

Gopi tells,"Maaji, please try for a single." Kokila said, "Yes, I will try my best." Kokila is lucky to give the strike to Gopi. The score is 61. The Modis need 5 runs to win. Savita tells her team, "See that Gopi is in the non-strikers end. Only 3 balls are remaining." Gopi faces the ball but does not get the hold of it. Single is there but they don't run. Gopi faces the next ball & finishes the match with a six. Modi women win.

Savita tells Kokila, "I know your DIL has played in the State & National level but my boys will definitely win."

Kokils said, "My boys are no less & my SIL is also a good player." Savita's boys start their innings & their final score is 95 in 10 overs. The first 3 had scored well.

Ahem said, "Guys, 96 is within the reach but we have to play carefully." He also tells Jigar, "We are the only ones to take the team to victory & none of us can afford to lose our wickets." Ahem & Jigar open the batting & they take the score to 55 before Jigar gets out. Savita's guys had blocked Jigar's way due to which he got run out. Dhawal comes in & scores 30 before getting out. The score is now 86. They have the last over.

Ahem is on strike & he finishes the match with one six & a boundary. Savita is about to leave but Kokila tells her, "Now my boys & girls & have won. So it is better that you all don't burst crackers as Baa cannot stand that." Savita said, "We will show you next time." Kokila said, "Come better prepared next time."

The Modis celebrate their victory & hug each other.

Radha & Krishna are in Durban watching the match. Radha says, "India will win". Krishna said, "Indian team is unpredictable & cannot be trusted." However, India wins the Durban one-dayer. Krishna gets a business offer in South Africa & the couple has to work on the project for 6 months. Krishna calls Cyrus & tells him,"We have got the project in South Africa & will be there for 6 months."

Cyrus said, "Congratulations, it is good that now you guys are away from Umang but when it comes to facing him, no need to get afraid."

Umang comes back to India & ask Cyrus about Radha. Cyrus said, "I don't know where she is." Umang said, "I know very well that Radha has moved on in her life. I have got the information from my reliable sources. But I don't have any hard feelings. I have hurt many girls in my life including Kinjal, Tripti & Radha. Australia trip has been very much refreshing for me. I promise you & God that I will continue to lead a good life."

Cyrus hugs Umang.

Modis in sports.They won.Umang has no prob with Radha Krishna.He has decided 2 lead a good life.hope he won't change

Part 21

Everyone is full for praise for Ahem and Gopi. Apart from the trophy, the judge asks the winners to exchange gold rings. Ahem and Gopi come forward and they make each other wear the ring.

Ahem: I knew that you were good in table-tennis and running but never knew that you could play cricket so well.

Gopi: We were playing in the college. You know there isn't much encouragement for ladies cricket.

Ahem: From tomorrow, we will spend time. Why don't you come with me for morning walk, jogging and workouts? Before you came in my life, my mom used to inspire me but now, you are my inspiration and our taste is the same.

Gopi: Sure, I will definitely join you. Even devarji is with you right?

Ahem: Yes, we go daily.

Jigar comes in & says, "Bhabhi, you are always welcome to join us." Gopi said, "Devarji, how about taking Rashi with you?" Jigar said, "Yes, nice idea. But the problem is that she gets up late. I will speak to her about it."

Rashi: Jigarji, I will join you from tomorrow.

Jigar: Fine.

Ahem and Jigar inform Kokila about their respective wives joining them for jogging. Kokila is reluctant but Baa and Hetal convinces her. Kokila agrees.

One day, Gopi gets an unknown call. She was getting it since her college days but she was back-answering that person & blocking those numbers. Anurag was her another classmate who was secretly admiring her but she did not care. Anurag was calling & texting Gopi from different numbers stating, "I know you since college days. I'm your class-mate. I know you had gone abroad & are married. I tell you one thing. Ahem is not fit for you. Leave him & make me yours." Gopi decides to tell Ahem about it.

Anurag calls her again. Gopi receives & tells him, "Who the hell you are? If you have guts come to my house or office personally. I will show you what I am." Ahem comes in & overhears the telephone conversation. Gopi shows him the text message & plays his recorded voice.

Ahem: You have not told this to me before. Whatever is the problem, you can tell me. I'm not only your husband, but also your friend. We got married later.

Gopi: I was getting it since my college days. But I was back-answering that person & blocking his number. After coming from USA, I had also changed my number as my old number had gone for recycling. I thought he won't be able to trace me. So I did not bother about it.

Ahem: If he was studying in your college, he would also be in facebook. If we don't find him there, there are other ways.

Ahem takes the phone password from Gopi before she went to the bathroom. There is one more call. Ahem picks it up & tries to speak to the person but he cuts the call. After Gopi came out, both exchange their mobile phones.

Ahem: I will give the phone to you when anybody other than that unknown caller calls you. In case if anyone calls to my number, you can answer the call if I'm busy or in another call.

During their lunch time, Ahem & Gopi check the facebook for that person. They find Anurag Joshi is one of Gopi's friends in facebook.

Ahem: Is there by any chance that any guy in the college was secretly/openly in love you?
Gopi: I never kept any boyfriends during the college days & I'm not aware whether anyone was secretly loving me.

Ahem: I know you never kept any male friends but many might have proposed to you. I too studied in the same college but I was your senior. I used to see your name in the toppers list very often but that was during the last days. I got an opportunity to meet you in USA. I had married Anita very early but our marriage lasted only for 3 months.

Gopi: Yes, many guys had proposed to me but I had cut my friendship when they did.

Ahem & Gopi take the photos of all the males in their college who are in her facebook & go to the police station. They lodge a complaint with those pics & give the caller's number. The police said, "We will trace & inform you."

There is an unknown call at Modi Bhavan at the landline which Kokila picks up. Before she could speak, the caller asks for Gopi but cuts the call after hearing Kokila's voice.

Ahem: Could you find that from your caller id?
Gopi: Yes, to one mobile number, it shows Anurag Joshi but other numbers are giving different names. During college days, Anurag & myself used to exchange our notes very often. During heavy rains, he used to brave the weather for me. But I can't suspect him as he didn't propose to me.

Ahem:Oh one minute, yes, I was coming to that side very often & I used to see him very often. It is the same face. He is a crazy guy to the extent I've seen. He also attended the interview in our office but was rejected.

Kokila comes to their room & says, "One unknown caller has asked for Gopi. Do you know who is that person?"

Gopi said, "That is what we are talking about." Kokila asked, "Is that guy troubling you?" Gopi said, "Yes."

Ahem & Gopi show Kokila all the evidences they have gathered. Rashi comes in & overhears everything. Kokila was about to go to her but finds her near.

Rashi: I have found that guy very much weird. He had dashed Gopi & me once.

Policemen go to the service provider and the telephone exchange and gather the information. All her male friends are called for enquiry. All of them are in the station except for Anurag. All the guys who are called are found to be innocent. They go to Modi Bhavan to talk to Ahem and Gopi who explains them about this problem and apologizes to them. They all said, "Nothing serious. They had enquired us about that person. We gave them all the information about him to the best of our knowledge & belief. We are Gopi's old friends and are always for you. We also came for the wedding if you remember."

Kokila said, "Yes, I do remember. Can you tell us about Anurag?"

One of the guys name is Federer. He stood up and said,"Definitely! Anurag is basically a good person but he has a mental problem and his behavior has been weird. I've observed that his behavior used to change as soon as he used to see Gopi. Though he was good at studies, he was obsessed about her & wanted to marry her. He was heartbroken after her engagement with your son Ahem. Gopi never knew that he was in love with her because he was normal with her."

Ahem said, "I saw him waiting for someone in the college in that mad weather."

Federer said, "Yes, he was waiting for Gopi who did not turn up that day. Only a lover can do such a thing. Even the cops suspect Anurag as he ran away to another city."

Ahem asked, "Is he in touch with you." Federer said, "Yes, but he does not call me on one particular number. He calls me on different numbers."

He then gave the number list to the Modis who thank him.

The caller stands near the gate one night where all are sleeping. He comes from Savitaben's house to Modi Bhavan. He then climbs the pipe leading to Gohem's room & hides in the terrace where the women dry their clothes.

Suddenly, there is a noise where everyone wakes up. But the noise is only from the terrace which Gopi finds. There is a broken glass. One of Gopi's ear-rings fall near the terrace of which she is not aware. A hand comes & makes her unconscious, kidnapping her thereby.
After Gopi gains her consciousness, she finds herself in Anurag's house & is shocked to see him.

Gopi's classmate kept calling her 2 leave ahem n be with him.glad that gopi shared it with ahem n finally they found that its an obsessive lover called amurag.he kidnapped Gopi.OMG

Part 22

The Modis trace for that sound everywhere in the house but are unable to do that. They finally go to the terrace where they find Gopi's earring. The family is shocked to see that Gopi is missing. Ahem calls to her number only to find that her mobile was in their room. Rashi said, "Definitely someone has come here and have kidnapped our Gopi." Ahem said, "As far as I know Gopi always keeps her mobile with her. It seems that the person knows about our plans."

Kokila said, "Call Federer and find out. " Suddenly Rashi gets the clue about the kidnapper by way of his wallet having a driving licence . She picks up the wallet and finds the same. She shows it to Kokila.

The ladies go to that spot whereas the men go to the cops and inform about the incident showing his DL.

Anurag said, "You told me to come home personally. So I came. No one could do anything. Your family cannot reach me. " He gives a nasty laugh. Anurag further said, "I loved you a lot and proposed to you but you have disrespected it and married my rival. "

Gopi said, "I never knew that you loved me as you have not expressed it. I am grateful to you for all the help you gave me but Ahem has done a lot for me. He has helped me to get back my lost dad."

Anurag said, "I know many had proposed to you in the college but you had cut off with them. If I had done that, I would have lost you forever."

Gopi said, "I have never loved you in my life. I had only come to study. Not to love. I don't love you not because I am married to Ahem but because, I love Ahem with all my heart and soul. He became our family member even before our engagement, he always stood by me. He also took care of Radha's education. Please let me go. "

Anurag said, "I want to marry you. See everything is ready i. e. Sindoor, and mangalsutra." Gopi pushes him and tries to escape but fails. Anurag, unable to bear, ties her up, takes the knife to rip her clothes.

He said, "If you are not mine, you are not the woman of any other man as I will put you in such a situation that you will not have any other option but to come to me. Then you will realize in what way I am different from your Ahem. "

He then ties her up and tries to rape her. Rashi finds Gopi and saves her in the nick of time.

Anurag furiously asks Rashi, "How dare you come between us? Gopi is only mine." Rashi said, "What is the proof that she is yours? Is your name written on her? Gopi is my sister & I can go to any extent to save her dignity & life."

Both ladies beat him up and escape when he is injured. The entire family waits for them down. Anurag comes from behind and holds her body again but Rashi saves her again. Both Gopi and Rashi fight Anurag and escape. Finally, the entire family sees them safe and are relieved.

Anurag gets the stick and tries to hit Gopi and smash up Rashi's face but their respective husbands come and beat him black and blue. The police arrests Anurag.

How cheap of anurag 2 try 2 rape gopi 2 get her!Is this love?Glad that Rashi came n saved gopi.loved when both beat him up.Modies saved the girls.I am happy that like on SNS u didnt kill Rashi while saving gopi

Gopi is badly bruised. Anurag had torn her clothes & had bitten her before Rashi came. Ahem gives his top to her to cover her body. Rashi too had got hurt fighting Anurag. Everyone reaches home. Ahem and Jigar tend to Gopi's & Rashi's wounds respectively.

Jigar said, "You are a good fighter."
Rashi said, "Thanks but you have inspired me."

Rashi had also got hurt while opening the window after breaking the glass. Jigar nurses those wounds too.

Gopi cries & tells Ahem, "I never knew that Anurag would go to this extent. He has behaved like a beast. I will never forgive him."

Ahem consoled her & said, "You are my brave wife & a good fighter. These tears don't look good on you. If at all, it should fall from your eyes, it should be of joy. Think that as a bad dream & forget it. I'm always there for you."

The Modis get the news that Anurag gets 10 years imprisonment.

Things go smooth. All had paid back their loans for the project for which they had taken. Dhawal resigns as a bank manager and starts his own business in financial services, insurance and invests money in stock market. He then makes the house as big as Modi Bhavan and fixes up A/C in all the rooms. Kinjal is happy and falls in love with him.

After 6 months, Krishna and Radha come back from South Africa.
All the four girls i.e Gopi, Rashi, Radha & Kinjal come with the good news, informing the family about their pregnancy.

Kokila tells Gopi & Kinjal, "You should take care of your health & not exert yourselves too much." Rashi gets the same advice from Hetal. Yashoda tells the same thing to Radha.

Kokila tells Ahem & Jigar, "Now when you guys go for some meeting see that your respective wives are back."

Both nod their heads.

Gopi & Rashi come back in the evening. All the four girls go for evening walk. At the end of 9th month, Gopi and Rashi deliver two twin boys, Radha & Kinjal delivered one boy. Everyone lived happily ever after.
