Episode starts with Gaura hugging Gopi and speaks cryptically. Gopi is still concerned about Kokila so heads off with Urmila to find her. They go to the car and call for her but don't find her. After calling out she notices an earring on the floor and confirms that it belongs to Kokila. She calls Ahem and Jigar, who are en route and informs them.
The other deity is brought alongside and when Vidya questions it, Gaura explains that since the sacrifice couldn't be done at the house so this is what has to be done. She begins the aarti and then passes on the plate to Meera and Dharam while Durga looks sad. Finally Vidya and Shravan complete the aarti before handing it over to the priest. Vidya continues to look out for Kokila. She wants to speak to Shravan but Gaura fakes an asthma attack and sends him home to get her inhaler. Dharam smirks.
Gopi and Urmila come back to the crowd as arrangement are made to immerse both floats in the lake. In the trunk Kokila slowly comes round and frees her hands and mouth. She shouts for Gopi but is not heard among all the noise. Gaura happily watches as Kokila's demise is near.
Gopi prays to the goddess to help find her mother in law. At her second request she sees a hand coming out of the trunk.. After standing still in shock for some time she realises that it is Kokila and goes running, colliding with some women carrying colour and gets covered in it. She finally realises where she was going and jumps into the lake.
People watch on and Vidya and Meera soon realise that Kokila is in the trunk. I think they saw her hand waving. They start to run to the lake but Gaura grabs both their hands and keeps them back. Both struggle and free themselves before jumping into the lake.
Urmila sees a rope on the truck, attaches it to the truck and makes for the edge. Gaura stops her and declares not to bother, that all four should die too.
Pre cap. Gopi with the girls trying to resuscitate Kokila. Both girls shout for their grandmother.
