Episodes starts with Vidya championing Durga to do the aarti. She gives her reasons.
Shravan takes blessings from Gaura and ignores his father, much to Dharam's anger. He complains to Gaura.
Vidya takes blessings from Gaura who takes the opportunity to put cow dung on her pallu. When Vidya walks away Gaura instigates Meera against Vidya. Both girls argue and Meera drags Vidya out to the aangen. Durga falls at Dharam's feet but he threatens her and drags her away to teach her a lesson.
At MM Kokila is worried as her phone call is not connecting. She laments that someone has put the evil eye on her family, how Meera and Vidya are having to deal with Gaura and her children are not in contact. She prays to the idols to bring her children back safely.
At Gaura's, Meera and Vidya are arguing with Meera claiming that Vidya is jealous of her and has always been to which Vidya counteracts her statement. Gaura sits comfortably on the swing, eats food, passes remarks and enjoys seeing the two girls arguing.
Meera scolds Vidya for putting cow dung on her and states how disgusting it was but Vidya stands up for her self and tells her of the five by products of the cow which are considered pure. Meera chooses not to listen and berates Vidya for putting the 'other woman' forward to do the aarti. But Vidya points out that the 'other woman' is Meera and not Durga. Meera cannot see this.
Meera and Vidya continue arguing. Meera grabs Vidya by the arm and screeches at her. They are interrupted by Durga pleading to be let go. Vidya shrugs off Meera's hand and goes upstairs to help Durga.
Dharam is holding Durga to the floor by her hair while she pleads in pain to be released. Dharam doesn't care and raises his hand to her but is interrupted by Vidya, who comes to help Durga. Durga weeps, Dharam scowls, Meera and Gaura look on. Vidya scolds Dharam for his behaviour, pointing out that their worshipping of the goddess means nothing if they can treat their eldest daughter in law of the house so badly. He tells her to move out of the way and he becomes abusive ready to hit Vidya with the crutch. As the crutch comes down it is stopped.
Shravan stops Dharam from hitting Vidya and his mother. He has a stand off with Dharam. Gaura shouts for Dharam and falls to the floor unconscious.
At MM Kokila interrogates Tolu, Molu and Dhawal for any news. Gopi then comes bounding in and is scolded by Kokila. She asks for Ahem and Jigar who turn up with Madhu. Kokila sits in surprise. She asks why she was brought to the house. Gopi happily says that Madhu will stay with them.
Kokila refuses.
Pre cap. Gopi is asking Kokila why she won't let Madhu stay. Kokila begins to tell her.
