The episode starts with the Modi's crying and berating Meera's actions.
On the other side Gaura deliberately makes Durga fall while a smirking Dharam looks on. Gaura taunts Durga like one does to an animal. Each sweet word followed by ten back handed insults. The root reason is that they want Shravan to stay and only Durga can do that. For doing this they will allow Durga to stay as a made in their house. She is charged with bringing Vidya back to the house.
At Modi's Ahem collects all of Meera's things. At Gaura's Durga comes to Shravan. He is worried for her. She tells, nay asks home if they can stay one more day so that she can at least spend some time as dharam's wife. Gaura comes along and requests home to listen to his mothers wish as it may be her last. Shravan lambasts Gaura for speaking like that but eventually agrees to spending one day more at the house. Gaura is happy as it gives her time to execute her plan.
At the Modi's Ahem takes Meera's belongings and prepares to set fire to them despite the family's protests. Gopi rushes down to protect some of the things and in saving a photo from the fire she burns her hand. Ahem scolds her for doing such a thing but she counteracts all his arguments that Meera is still her daughter and if he wants to get rid of Meera's memories then he must get rid of her too. She refuses any medication for her hand.
Pre cap. Kokila admits that she ruined both Vidya and Meera's lives and that not only is she not worthy of asking for forgiveness but she should not be forgiven. She bends to touch Gopi's feet.
