I LOVED Meera saying that she's educated and can earn for herself and will never be dependent on anyone. I don't see how that's true, though! Have we ever seen any indication Meera can get or hold down a job? And if she was really interested in taking care of herself...she wouldn't be wrapped up in the whole mess her life is right now 😛

She got kicked out of college...I don't know how she considers herself educated. Nowadays even with a University degree, it's hard to land a job. Meera has no skills and is not employable.

Meera is only with a bloated head and ego. She has been pampered to the core and thinks no end of herself. Its time she is shown her real worth. Why is Gaura keen on retaining Meera in her house. She should have let her go.

Simply going to college doesn't make a person educated. In case everyone forgot, Meera never finished college. She was always busy partying and drinking and got kicked out. She never cared much for her studies in the first place. What job can she get now? Simply making boastful words is not going to make her an educated person.

I did not like seeing her put down Durga. Just because she is uneducated doesn't make her a lesser person than Meera. Durga has a much bigger heart and her head isn't bloated like Meera's.

Meera is so much like Ahem the resemblance is uncanny. Ahem too used to insult Gopi for being uneducated and and gawaar, though Gopi was a much better person than him for her personality. Same with Meera. Just because she went to college doesn't make her a model of feminism. She should have a good heart first and understand that the world doesn't revolve around her.

Meera has a bigger ego than Ahem... who will give her a job we dont even know if she went to college or studied.. as above, someone said it is not easy to get a decent job just even with a basic degree...
It is easier said than done... the way she put Durga down shows all her upbringing... first of all its her who married a married man and what does she expect from Dharam and Gaura who had such evil intentions behind getting Meera married to Dharam..😕

Word! 👏 It was not necessarily her fault for getting married to a married man because she didn't know about Durga before the wedding, but there was still no need for her to put down Durga. Instead, she should be empathizing with her, and together Durga and Meera should get revenge on Dharam and Gaura for the mess they are in.

Meera is so hard to tolerate now. I miss the sweet baby who used to toddle around Modi bhavan, and the humble 10 year old who had immense love and respect for her parents.

I don't really see how she put Durga down? She said unlike Durga, you can't push me around, and I'm not going to be kicked out, I'll walk out. In my view it wasn't putting Durga down so much as arguing to Gaura and Dharam that they don't have as much power over her as they do over Durga.

Or did I miss a particularly insulting line somewhere...?

Yes but the whole point is Meera wants Vidya back so she can be her MIL and torture her too... so getting one with Durga is out of question..
Totally.. she was awesome when she was 3 and also when she came back home at around 10... wow what made her like this ? the hatred for her mom ? or Mansi/Ahem's upbrigning ?

that is the great mystery!! wish we had a satisfying answer for this. i think the only available explanation is because "CVs needed an antagonist so they made her a spoiled brat."

it's VERY hard to understand how 10/12 year old super sweet, docile, traditionally-minded Meera could become the young woman we see today.

that being said, i think current meera is awesome. not when she's hurting other people, because that is depressing and wrong, but the rest of the time, her outspoken, selfish attitude appeals to me. there is a girl who will not let life steamroll her 😉
