An abridged version.
Raksha bandhan is going on Meera and Vidya do the aarti and tie rakhees on Tolu, Molu's wrists. Paridi gives them envelopes to give to Meera and Vidya. Rashi ties rakhees and jigar worries that Paridi has nothing for Rashi so he rummages in his pocket for money to give to her via the boys but Paridi surprises him with a gift for Rashi.
Gopi places a rakhee besides Rashi1 photo and tearfully remembers tying rakhee to Rashi. Kokila stands mutely. Urmila comes and dries gopi's tears.
Gaura gets a phone call, blows the conch shell and dances like a weirdo. All because her son has arrived. He greets them all and happily greets Vidya, whom he remembers from the market place. Meera tries to hide her face.
There is friction between Shravan and his father which makes the Modis raise their eyebrows.
General chit chat over dinner-Ahem asking about business, income etc.
Meera hides in her room and refuses to come down for dinner despite Gopi coming to get her.
In her room Gaura scolds both men and tells them to keep their things private. They decide to wait until the family is asleep and then they will execute the next part of their plan.
Gaura's son gives her an item.
