Gaura and Kokila are in the bedroom reminiscing about old times. At one point Gaura laughs out loud confusing Kokila but then reminds about a neighbour for whom they had substituted henna for dung and applied it. Gaura's behaviour is really odd in places. Gopi arrives with hot milk for both.
In the corridor Gopi stops Ahem, who is on his way to see Kokila. She advises him that if it can wait as the two friends have a lot to catch up on. He sees his mother happy and heeds Gopi's words. Gopi asks Ahem if he ever had a good friend while growing up. He says that he and Jigar spent all the time together so never had the need. Gopi tells him that she never had the opportunity so never had friends. He asks about the few friends. Gopi explained that they were much younger than her. Ahem says that he is her friend. Both happy, they hug.
Gopi and Ahem view the friendship between Kokila and Gaura. Gopi wishes that her daughters get such good friends too.
Gaura tells Kokila to be up early in the morning as she will go with Kokila to Rajkot to find a suitable wife for her grandson. Kokila gets happy and asks about the girl but Gaura tells her to save her questions for tomorrow. She goes to her room.
The trekkers have set up camp for the night. Meera looks at her phone, smiles and gets up to leave but can't do so as Vidya has tied her wrist to hers. Meera works free and attempts to go out. Vidya wakes, checks the phone and smiles. Meera hears animal noises, gets scared, decides against it and goes to sleep. Vidya half opens her eyes and smiles while Tolu and Molu are in the other tent laughing as they had played the animal noises.
In MM: Breakfast. Gaura's whereabouts are asked. Kokila tells that she is in the garden doing some yoga. Gopi cracks a joke about at least Gaura bows her head in front of some one. The women giggle while Kokila playfully reprimands Gopi.
Gaura arrives and Kokila says that seeing her friend work up a sweat that she should only have light porridge. Paridi chimes in with the benefits of losing weight and is quickly put down by Gaura. She asks for parantha.
Ahem arrives, late for work and decides to skip breakfast. Gaura stops him and wastes his time asking him about an address and then implies that he should drive her around. She finally relents and he leaves. Gaura explains to Hetal why she is going, ie to find a wife for her grandson. They ask her to call the family to their house. After a while Gaura agrees. She mutters away and it looks like the seeds of suspicion are planted in Gopi's mind.
The trekkers decide to wrap up camp. Meera wants to stay a little longer and makes the excuse that she wants to climb another mountain/hill. They agree.
At MM Gopi and Paridi are cooking. Gaura comes along and compliments the girls on the food. Carelessly she takes the chutney spoon and dips it into the kheer, stirring it around before tasting it. Gopi and Paridi are aghast. Paridi explains about Kokila not liking it if the food is contaminated. Kokila comes to see why the commotion. The girls explain and Kokila chastises Gaura for not losing such a habit but she is not angry. Gaura makes a drama of it all. Gopi tells her not to worry, she will make more. Gaura gasps and asks if she is a daughter in law or a maid. Gopi looks put out but in the end Kokila asks her to make a small amount of sweet for the diety.
Gopi gets a call and says to Paridi that the bus forgot to pick up Rashi from school so she will get her. However Paridi stops her and says she will collect her hersel leaving a smiling Gopi.
The trekkers are on the trail for the next mountain. Meera says she lost her bangle and goes back for it. Vidya remembers that there was no bangle so the trio run after her.
Sanskar is waiting for Meera. Together they run and Merra gets her foot caught in a hole. While trying to free herself she disturbs a scorpion nest and three head in her direction. She is scared by them and tells Sanskar. He looks before saying that he'll do something then runs off, leaving her to call after him. When he doesn't turn back she calls for Vidya, Tolu and Molu.
The scene ends on Meera's face.
Pre cap. Kokila asks Gaura why she rejected the girl. Gaura says that she doesn't want a grand daughter in law who is a cow but a girl who is one step ahead of her in all things. Gopi looks uncomfortable and Kokila in thought.
