Ahem and Gopi are the parents of two grown-up girls. So as matured couples, they should sort out the differences. Why should Kokila intervene and that to by faking her illness. Even if she had faked, couldn't she cover it up? After stopping Ahem, she should have told him that her health will improve only when he reunites with his wife. Even if they go to the doctor, they will say the same thing.

Or the better way to emotionally blackmail ahem is that she should have told that she will suicide if he leaves Gopi and marries Mansi. Although, in my point of view it is not right but it is better than faking.

Moreover, it is upto the couple whether they want to sort out the differences or not. Only if his ego evaporates, the couple will sit together and do that.

Kokila still treats Ahem like a kid.
