Few days back, i ready many of the posts saying Gopi didn't deserve the punishment of killing Radha bcoz the murder is done as the act of self defense and as Radha is an evil.

Firstly, this is not an act of self defense. Gopi didn't kill Radha to save her life. Not at the time, when she hit her to the rock or threw her into the river. She came back surviving her life after so much time being in the water with full range and killed her in the act of revenge and anger & to protect her family from any upcoming evil acts of Radha. Not to forget, at that time little Rashi is safe too, in the hands of Kokila.

Again, The court did observe the criminal and mental PAST records of Radha. Hence, the 14 years jail sentence, for merely and wrongly taking the power of killing a criminal into her hands which is against the law. Otherwise she wud have gotten death sentence of hanging or lifelong jail sentence...had they not checked Radha's criminal past.

They shud have shown THE JUDGEMENT properly.

HowEver, i liked when Gopi didn't give Ahem, the coffee and said who said it is for you? Great development and initiative by writers. Gopi turned from a typical bahu and doormat to self dependent and self respectful woman. 👏 Despite of claiming Gopi as gawar and him as educated, he don't even have sense to check whether the switch of the coffee maker is turned on or not. He is still thinking that Gopi is there on this planet only to serve him, even if he moved on without waiting for her. BACKWARD THINKER AND LOSER! 👎🏼

I agree...I would love to see her more witty comments and independent rather than be a servant at ahem 😕

There is no difference between 14 years imprisonment & life-long imprisonment. Even the life-long imprisonment will be upto 14 or 15 years.

Gopi should now be independent & never cling to that worthless Ahem.

I think may be I am the one who said it is an act of self defence.

Radha tried to kill Gopi in fact very near killed her. Gopi went under water and stayed unconscious for a period of time. though how I do not know.

And when she came back Radha was still attacking Kokila. Gopi went to kill Radha which is an act of stupidity .

What Gopi could have done was to have gone to help Kokila or rather save her from Radha's attack. Instead Gopi took law in her hands and stabbed Radha with trishul making it look like

Devi Maa came over her and killed Radha. And stupider was Kokila saying "Devi Maa Shant ho jao" blah blah . the whole scene was stupid.

Gopi could have defended herself in court saying Radha was attacking Kokila and she went to help her and in the process Radha got killed. She could have said it even if it was slightly untrue.

Radha was a life threat to all of them including Gopi herself. Gopi's act in anger ruined her life even though she got the credit for sacrificing for the Modis .

Gopi could have defended herself in court that is all I said. I am not saying she killed Radha in self defense.

But tell me with someone like Radha what else could she have done? She did not have that much intelligence at that time to think of the consequences.

Her stupid emotional brain could only think of killing Radha since Gopi felt responsible for Radha's actions because she is her sister. which Gopi need not have felt as Radha's actions are her own.

Well when there was no eye witness except the Modis they could have done somthing to defend Gopi. "

That is all I think.

However, killing for self defense or for protecting others is excusable to the law. God knows what Gopi said in the court that she got punished for 14 years.

One thing is unconvincing to me. How come no one has physically stopped Gopi from killing Radha?

Exactly that is what I am ranting about Gopi's character from the beginning. First when Meera was a kid she took the murder blame on herself because she thought Kinjal killed Umang .At that time too she never thought of Meera or Ahem.

If Kinjal had really killed Umang then shouldn't she be punished in the court of law? If Kinjal did not kill Umang then why is Gopi taking the blame on herself and going to jail thus letting the real killer escape?

I used to wonder Gopi's lack of education and even when she educated herself later even then her actions used to be stupid and emotional.

She never thought of her own family life and child even at that time. She thought she was right in sacrificing for the Modis. But in the process her near and dear ones like Ahem and the children felt she abandoned them. She does not realize her sacrifice was hurting her husband and children. and while the Modis were grateful for it her immediate family hated her .

This lack of understanding of life is what makes me angry at Gopi and makes me want to call her an emotional fool.

Also she is lucky Ahem loves her and never went for another woman in spite of her going to jail for fourteen years. And I can understand his anger for what Gopi did to him and the kids by doing such a stupid thing as killing Radha.

Probably she blurted out in the court she wiped out evil by killing Radha . Probably that got her fourteen years in jail. In her every action she has not considered Ahem and the kids. and she expected them to do penance for fourteen years waiting for her to come back. In this expecation too her stupidity comes to the forefront more than anything else. and then the promise. even for the sake of the kids what is there to stop Ahem from coming to meet her alone in prison? he need not tell the kids anything. Her stupid actions have cost her her married life. I hope she realizes that.
