Killing a person for self defence as well as for defending others for the law is excusable & is exempted. The law cannot arrest Gopi for this & put her behind the bars.

Different websites give different versions about the leap. One of the websites say that Radha runs away with the child. No one knows where she is. The Modis return home. Ahem tells Gopi to stay back as she is worried about Rashi. After Ahem leaves home with the kids, Radha dies in Paridhi's hands & Gopi gets arrested.
