The scene opens with the family gathered in the police station. Gopi is telling the inspector that her mother in law has done no such thing and that it was Vivan who has kidnapped Paridi.
Lo and behold Vivan runs in and acts all concerned. He tells the inspector to find Paridi. Gopi tells him to stop acting and recounts to the police and all who can hear that it was Vivan in the autorickshaw and that she became injured due to the altercation she had with him. He tells her to stop. She notices the bandage on his wrist and immediately homes in on it. She tells how she had scratched the rickshaw driver and that she had scratched him. A flashback sequence is shown. Vivan backs away and refusing to show his injury. He accuses Gopi of being a mad woman and again refuses her.
Vivan removes the bandage to show a burn. He tells the inspector that it is cold in Delhi and he was lighting a fire hence the burn. He goes further to ask the inspector if he even knows how cold it is in Delhi. The temperature there is colder than it is in London. Gopi again shouts at him to stop telling lies and tell the truth, he calls Gopi a mad woman with her lies. Ahem steps in and tells him to watch his words. The inspector tells Vivan that as Gopi has accused him and she is the sole witness that they will have to arrest him also. He smirks and says that he knew that this would happen so he has brought his own solicitor who has the papers for his anticipatory bail. The police are unable to do anything against Vivan. He assures Mr Mehta that as his son in law he will bring back Paridi. He leaves. Upon leaving he turns and smirks.
Gopi goes to Kokila and says that she has lost Rashi and that she will bring Paridi back and clear the accusation of kidnap against Kokila. Kokila tells her to go home and rest. She orders the others to take Gopi home.
Radha and Vivan are seen meeting and arguing as to the whereabouts of Paridi. Radha laughs and tells him that if that is what has happened then their work is done. Vivan agrees. In flashback mode we see Kokila drop Paridi outside the hotel. Mr Mehta is seen inside on the phone. Kokila leaves Paridi to walk into the lobby and returns to the car. As her back is turned Vivan creeps up behind Paridi with chloroform and kidnaps her. In the present day he gloats. Radha reminds him that if it wasn't for her, he would have been arrested by now. Again in flashback they are seen meeting. Radha sees the scratches on his wrist, he tells her how it happened she picks up a burning ember and burns it, thereby covering the scratches. Back to present Radha asks where Paridi is hidden. He does not tell her. Either way she is happy.
At home Baa is putting the kids to bed. They ask for everyone and Baa handles them and tells them to go to sleep. Baa comes down to disputes with the deities that how can they allow this? Gopi in hospital and Kokila in jail. She turns and is shocked to see Meera standing there. Meera is distraught and seeks comfort from Baa.
Vivan enters a room carrying a bunch of flowers and acts all sweet. Paridi is shown, tied and gagged. He removes the gag and forcibly feeds her. Radha has shadowed him and sees him and Paridi. She says that Paridi being there can be dangerous for them and that she will have to move her as soon as possible.
We go back to the police station and Kokila is on the floor. Ahem is on the other side. Kokila is puzzled as to why Gopi is siding with Paridi to the point of putting her own life and risk and wonders what magic Paridi has done. Ahem tells her not to worry. They will arrange bail in the morning and she will be out.
Pre cap: Ahem, Jigar and a solicitor arrive with bail papers for Kokila and ready themselves to take her home. Mr Mehta arrives and says that it won't happen. He hands over some court papers. Looks like Kokila won't be going home any time soon.
