Saath Nibhana Saathiya: Gopi slips into coma; show takes a leap

The show keeps slipping into leaps - a little too often than we like

Saath Nibhana Saathiya had just taken an eight year leap and looks like they are heading into another one soon. In the recent episodes, we saw how Paridhi's (Lovey Sasan) ex-boyfriend Vivan (Shresth Kumar) comes back into her life and creates havoc.

No one except Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) believes that Paridhi is right. Kokila (Rupal Patel) throws her out of the house and according to the latest promo, Paridhi gets kidnapped. Gopi runs behind her and the kidnapper aka Vivan kicks her. Gopi falls on a stone and suffers a head injury. She is immediately rushed to the hospital where she slips into coma.

Now popular reports suggest that when Gopi goes into coma, the soap takes a leap. The show will then circulate around how life changes in the Modi Bhavan in Gopi's absence. Even post the leap, the big question will be to whether take Gopi off the ventilator or not.

It's like the writers are getting lazy to write a good plot. Every time they get stuck, the makers opt for a leap. In spite of all the ridiculous tracks we've recently seen on the show, it is still getting decent ratings. How? Well that's something we just can't figure out.

Frankly, we hope that a lot changes post the leap. They should just start a new story altogether; they should get rid of Gopi, Kokila, Ahem and Jigar. What do you think BollywoodLifers?
