In this case, I think if Rashi allows her kids to eat out it;s her choice, not Gopi's or Koki's. Gopi shouldn't be lecturing Rashi in front of Tolu/Molu because they will undermine Rashi's ability as a parent. That's why I think each mother should be concerned for her own kids. Like I said, my family has always been nuclear so i wouldn't know.
