Gopi risk her life to save Rashi and everyone except the children were helping Gopi to rescue Rashi.
Gopi had almost cleared the burning sticks before any adult came to help her.

Even when the box was visible they saw Gopi trying to open the very hot lid with bare hands but even so everyone just looked at what was happening without lifting a finger to help.

I do not think that Urmila would had risk her life to save Rashi. The incident when she dropped one of the babies in the burning shelter and ran to safety, she thinks of her own safety.

Kokila has no shame accusing Gopi. All she was concerned about was blaming Gopi about taking the children. Ahem is shameless just like his mother. The apple does not fall far from the tree.
I love when Rashi told off Radha about crocodile tears.

I hope that Urmila will support Gopi and Rashi and Gopi will be like real sisters.
Kokila and Ahem are walking talking statues and moving brick walls.
The staues and walls have cracks and if not mended they will fall,

Well, Ahem and Kokila have an axe to grind with Gopi.😡

To be fair to them though, I do not think Gopi saving Rashi has a lot of impact on them. Rashi is not Kokila's bahu. Ahem cares less. She is his cousin's wife who he tolerates inspite of everything.

They may be worried for her like one is worried for a distant relative but I do not think they care too much about what happens with Rashi or if Gopi helped her in anyway.🥱

Ahem and Koki are looking for even small things to blame Gopi. They have been so blinded in anger and hatred that they are losing their humanity. While Ahem did help Gopi when she struggled with the fire, he was quick to distance himself from her at home.

They want to prove a point to Gopi.. That they care less about whatever she does.. they will not be swayed. But instead of doing it with class (they can just ignore Gopi), they are showing their hatred by finding fault with everything she does. Their egos are hurt and they lash out like a bunch of kids

Well Gopi does Volunteer at the Save Modi's single handedly organisation. Look at how many times she has saved the modi's

before marriage itself she saved Hetal from fire

after marriage- rashi from kidnappers
ahem from the fire
ahem from the kidnappers
rashi from the pit (by singing and keeping her awake)
koki from death bed (albeit by just bringing meera to hospital)

among outsiders - the girl from the acp track (though she did not succeed in saving the girl she punished the acp)

she also saved kanhaji himself (golden statue track)
she even saved jugnu the dog, the pigeon etc.

after the leap the kids from the pit
koki from taking phenyl ki goli

However her specialisation is Fire and Kidnappers.

My point is with Gopi no Emergency department needed in modi colony

The problem is Kokila and Ahem cannot see beyond themselves. They took it for granted that their grief was the worst. Then they decided that Gopi was the mean person in leaving MM without letting them to accuse and torture her further and when she came back, they had another reason in the form of Vidya to find fault with her..

This happened with one of my neighbors.
My previous neighbors were a joint family, bigger than the Modis. They had a similar tragedy when they lost the first male heir in that generation because like Meera, no one was looking and were too involved in their chores. Each thought the child was with another person in the house. And like Meera, he was a pampered child, the favorite of all as he was the first male child of the new generation.

The child was searched for and later found in a water tank.

There was of course anger, grief and blame.. But the mother who was the most affected was taken care of so humanely. Her inlaws understood her pain after they came out of shock. Her Bhabhi's took care of her as she grieved and blamed herself. Her husband would take her for long walks. They finally sent them to live separately for a few months because the girl was unable to cope, living in the same house she lost her son.

She now has 2 boys, both in their teens. She still remembers her first child but she moved on just like her family did. They supported each other during the worst phase of their lives.

This about 15 years back.. Now the Modis need not be that supportive but they can atleast be humans🥱

Thats so sad. Good for the family for being understanding to their bahu. Those kind of Families are a rare commodity these days.
