The fair Kokila I knew before this track would have been more human. If Radha could be forgiven for all her antics which includes almost causing a divorce, if Kokila could go to RN and bring Rashi back when she went away inspite what happened between her and Jigar, I think Gopi deserved atleast 10% of that consideration.
Why is it that Kokila could go find Rashi but would not even see beyond Gopi running away without informing anyone? Rashi did the same but Koki brought her back on her own volition. She convinced Rashi. Shouldn't Gopi have the same luxury? Why is she any lesser than Rashi? That is why I cannot convince myself that Kokila is justified in her behavior.
None of this involved the death of her grandchild . And 8 years of keeping the second one away AFTER the death of the first one will get mostly the same reaction even in the real world . The real world is more unfair than serials .
But this is not real world Kools just like Kokila is not real. In real world woman like Gopi would have already be dead..
And the death/disappearance of Meera should not change the fact that Kokila can be a little more fair. She does have one set of rules of the others and one set of rules for Gopi right from the beginning.
I do not deny that Kokila was one of those who trusted Gopi to the hilt. But then she is also one of those who made her go through a lot because of that. One has to see it from both ends.
Kokila's trust towards Gopi has always been based on fear of punishment and retribution. Gopi has unquestioningly accepted that.
If Koki went through a lot due to Meera's death, so did Gopi. And as a fair minded human that was Kokila of past, she should be more considerate is all I am saying.
And as for hiding Vidya, tell me why it would have been any different if Gopi had stayed back 8 years ago? She would have been a maid to her own daughter in the house of rules just like she is being told now.
I think Kokila's anger is based more on the fact that she could not CONTROL the events of either Gopi or Ahem's life when Gopi went away.
She lost the one person who she could keep blaming for Meera's absence. She lost that which meant she had to keep all that animosity within her for 8 years and now that the object of accusation is back and back with additional things to blame, Koki is having a field day.
There are many ways to project grief Kools. But to assume that her own grief is greater than all others is what makes me want to argue against Koki.
