Why is it that Kokila could go find Rashi but would not even see beyond Gopi running away without informing anyone? Rashi did the same but Koki brought her back on her own volition. She convinced Rashi. Shouldn't Gopi have the same luxury? Why is she any lesser than Rashi? That is why I cannot convince myself that Kokila is justified in her behavior.

None of this involved the death of her grandchild . And 8 years of keeping the second one away AFTER the death of the first one will get mostly the same reaction even in the real world . The real world is more unfair than serials .

But this is not real world Kools just like Kokila is not real. In real world woman like Gopi would have already be dead..

And the death/disappearance of Meera should not change the fact that Kokila can be a little more fair. She does have one set of rules of the others and one set of rules for Gopi right from the beginning.

I do not deny that Kokila was one of those who trusted Gopi to the hilt. But then she is also one of those who made her go through a lot because of that. One has to see it from both ends.

Kokila's trust towards Gopi has always been based on fear of punishment and retribution. Gopi has unquestioningly accepted that.

If Koki went through a lot due to Meera's death, so did Gopi. And as a fair minded human that was Kokila of past, she should be more considerate is all I am saying.

And as for hiding Vidya, tell me why it would have been any different if Gopi had stayed back 8 years ago? She would have been a maid to her own daughter in the house of rules just like she is being told now.

I think Kokila's anger is based more on the fact that she could not CONTROL the events of either Gopi or Ahem's life when Gopi went away.

She lost the one person who she could keep blaming for Meera's absence. She lost that which meant she had to keep all that animosity within her for 8 years and now that the object of accusation is back and back with additional things to blame, Koki is having a field day.

There are many ways to project grief Kools. But to assume that her own grief is greater than all others is what makes me want to argue against Koki.

Deaths take away fairness and objectivity dear . Vidya being born in the Modi house would have made Ahem Kokila alive partially , they would not have forgiven Gopi . in their mind they r seperate issues .And thats how it actually is . The forum feels that their feelings for Gopi should be same as they feel for Vidya . Its not like that .

The point is that the same applies to Gopi too😊 It has to, to be fair all across.

Vidya being born in the Modi house would have made Ahem Kokila alive partially , they would not have forgiven Gopi . in their mind they r seperate issues .

yes. Perhaps this would be true. Perhaps it would also have been that Gopi would have lost her second daughter too by being at MM. One can never guess under the circumstances.

And thats how it actually is . The forum feels that their feelings for Gopi should be same as they feel for Vidya . Its not like that .

For the record, I do not think that is the case. I got the feeling that the forum finds Gopi wrong too. but most side her because she does not keep accusing either Ahem or Kokila for her mistakes.

I feel both Kokila and Ahem can be a little more human. They can be angry and unhappy with Gopi but they should have the decency to hear her out atleast and not shout her down all the time just because they can. They come across as bullies and the forum I think just makes that thought obvious.

If they do not want her, then do not talk to her. Just don't keep putting her down and treating her like something under your feet just because you can. That is what Koki is doing.

I am just postponing the obvious and it is going to come back and bite me pretty soon😕

I don't see it that way .😊

What Gopi has done ...hiding a kid for 8 years and still saying i will bring her when she is bigger is by far the greater mistake , Meera falling from her hands isn't and their unfair blame isn't . Meera , Vidya and the unfair blame are all seperate issues which she has mixed in her head .

However I think compartmentalization of these is not possible at all. I guess we just have to shake hands again and agree to diagree😃

Well argued Kools😊
