Well, good point..😊
I think the reasons were part TRP, partly because the CVs think that to hide someone fault (here Rashi) all you have to do is make someone else worse and partly because they needed a valid reason for the leap and Meera missing fit in perfectly😉
And of course.. To make sure that Gopi is always shown right. Now that Radha is bad, the CVs think it justifies her initial siding with Rashi probably..😕

Excellent point Harini. The CVs themselves have certain preferences, it is clear they are very fond of Rashi. In yesterday's episode Rashi mentioned how Radha created misunderstandings between Raji. I was thinking how she conveniently forgot what she did to instigate her. Even she created misunderatandings between Gohem, Hetal and Koki and even Gopi and Radha. But the next thought that comes automatically- atleast she didn't try to kill a child. Very clever CVs.
Admittedly, in the beginning Radha was a meek and naive character. But she was easily impressionable and manipulated by Rashi, Umaang and Tripti to their whims and instigation about Gopi. But why was she so readily to believe that Gopi wanted to snatch her happiness? Well consider this. She grew up in the shadow of an elder sister who was 'lost.' Her mother in her grief was in no position to care for her and hence she may have grown up without much concern and care. Fast forward to the family reuniting with Gopi many years later and Radha sees that although raised as an orphan Gopi was enjoying a happy life. Jealousy will raise its head. I feel that without interference by Rashi et all Radha may have harboured I'll feeling towards Gopi.
