Without a blink of an eye Ahem stunned all his family with his mother-in-law's wishes - to see her daughter getting married to Ahem.
Kokila thought she had known her son. He needed much persuasion the first time round and a lot of nurturing to make his marriage work. Yet, she was pleased with the outcome.
It was relief for Gopi therefore she thanked him for fulfilling her mother's wishes. For Gopi she simply has accepted her marriage and the state at which her marriage is in, all thanks to the makings of her kanaji.
For Ahem, this is a God given second chance of righting things. He desires to marry wholeheartedly, without any restraints at all.
From here on, with tremendous conviction in his voice, he strongly believes that his conscience will be cleared of his past doings but he will continue to work on being a better husband to his Gopi.
