Star Plus' hit drama 'Pyar Ka Dard Hai' was the most watched Asian TV show in the UK last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The drama at 22:00 pulled in 240,900 viewers – peaking at 303,200 viewers – easily the most watched Asian TV show in the UK yesterday. In second place was 'SaraswatiChandra' with 167,800 viewers, followed by 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' with 159,300 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were 'MasterChef India' (153,500), 'Veera' (152,300), 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' (150,500). 'Saathiya' (130,400) and 'Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai' (105.300).
