Modis kanjoos that is written all over ...Gopi hears lalala in Rashi's grrr grrr.. good one Xar...BTW even my mom, most of the time cooks rice in regular pot and not a pressure cooker ..

i use electric rice cooker.. i know no other ways of cooking rice except for rice cooker...

and we all pity Meethi .. poor girl she has so much work to do day in and day out ...and y no maid for babies 😕

My younger brother taught me to make plain rice in the microwave 😊 Good when you are short of time. He would teach me anything else.
Munni I have come to the impression that Gopi is a babbling stream. Not a bad word comes out of her mouth. Rashi is the city's water supply. Not up to standard and full of additives. What a difference.
PS. I want Gopi to be in labour once again so that she can shout at Rashi this time.😆

Gopi, our mahaan has to smile and say yes to every suggestion from Rashi. I cannot understand why Gopi cannot just say that she needs to go back to Meera? She was the only one working in the kitchen at that time and all the other ladies were in their own world😕 No wonder Rashi plays her

As for the Modi Kanjoosi.. Urmi is planning to loosen their purse strings next😉

Harini for us making rice in a vessel is easiest, and it takes not more than 10 mins for my 2and half family...but yeah it needs practice...it is not at all work in bengali process...we need to boil rice with extra water in a normal vessel, that vessel will have a correct size cover...after the rice starts boil, just put the cover and do the vessel upside down in sink...that's it...but yeah if you don't know it can be a horrible accident...
It is not only tasty people say it is healthy too as it doesn't have extra water, so good for weight loosing and diabetes

Thanks Basu.. Looks like practice makes perfect and I have also heard of the goodness in cooking this way😃

@Xarina - Microwave cooking is cool.. And you save one burner when you do that.. But again we cannot expect the Kanjoos family to have a microwave now, can we?😆

They don't need a microwave. They have Koki's laser eyes. Soon cook things in a jiffy. 😆

Basu this is exactly how my mom used to cook when we were kids now toh she is use the limited water so that she doesn't drain them off ... but the older way of cooking by draining water is very yummy

Munni we too drain water with extra water, but not with strainer, we just keep slanted in sink, water flows out, then with cover do upside down...so all water automatically goes out, but little hand skill work...
