Whatever happened to Jugnu?

Seeing Rashi with her new puppy got me wondering... whatever happened to Ahem and Gopi's puppy Jugnu?

The last time I remember him being mentioned was just after Gopi's accident (when she got hit by a car while trying to find Jugnu on the road), when she went back home and everyone knew about him being Ahem's pet, and they said that Jugnu would be looked after at home now and would live outside with the watchmen.

Have I missed something here? Did they mention that they got rid of him at some point?

I don't remember the Modi's deciding to get rid of Jugnu since a baby would be coming soon, but they could have done that and I just missed that part.

Whatever the case, we can ignore the absence of Jugnu, but it really is weird that Jeetubhai hasn't been seen for months. I guess they don't have much for him to do in the show, so they have sent him on a perpetual business trip. I wish they would bring him back every so often like they have done in the past. Seriously, his beloved niece Gopi just became a mother - I would hope that they would bring him back soon for that, even if it just for one episode!

I would really like it if they could try to actually involve Jeetubhai in some more storylines now, rather than just Urmila. I wonder what Falguni is up to? If she is trying to swindle the Shah family for something (by getting Urmila all wrapped up around her little finger) then that could be a track to have Jeeubhai back for.
