Whatever happened to Jugnu?

Hi guys,

Seeing Rashi with her new puppy got me wondering... whatever happened to Ahem and Gopi's puppy Jugnu?

The last time I remember him being mentioned was just after Gopi's accident (when she got hit by a car while trying to find Jugnu on the road), when she went back home and everyone knew about him being Ahem's pet, and they said that Jugnu would be looked after at home now and would live outside with the watchmen.

Have I missed something here? Did they mention that they got rid of him at some point?

I don't remember the Modi's deciding to get rid of Jugnu since a baby would be coming soon, but they could have done that and I just missed that part.

Both Jugnu and Champu are quite cute! 😊

Nothing at all. Jugnu has been lost in the midst of time. No mention of him after Gopi coming home. He was a stray so maybe he has hit the road again.

Jugnu was sent away to proper animal care and that was the end of it. The Modis decided not to have pets I guess..

Hopefully the Modis made sure he is ok. He will be a pretty big puppy now. However offscreen, they showed Dev playing with Jugnu near the shooting spot. Looks like he was given away to a nice home nearby😊

All animals in SNS look cute except for dear ugly pigeon😆

I also wondered what had happened to Jugnu and also Rashi's dad ... all disappeared in the midst of time or the CVs have actually forgotten they ever existed???????

Thanks for the replies. 😊 It really does look like the forgot about him. Or even if they did bother to mention him, I guess he would be pretty big by now, and it would probably be better for Rashi to start off with looking after a small puppy. Even if they got a new puppy acting as Jugnu, in the story he should be at least 6 months older than he was the last time we saw him, and so he should be bigger.

Whatever the case, we can ignore the absence of Jugnu, but it really is weird that Jeetubhai hasn't been seen for months. I guess they don't have much for him to do in the show, so they have sent him on a perpetual business trip. I wish they would bring him back every so often like they have done in the past. Seriously, his beloved niece Gopi just became a mother - I would hope that they would bring him back soon for that, even if it just for one episode!

I would really like it if they could try to actually involve Jeetubhai in some more storylines now, rather than just Urmila. I wonder what Falguni is up to? If she is trying to swindle the Shah family for something (by getting Urmila all wrapped up around her little finger) then that could be a track to have Jeeubhai back for.
