IMPORTANT NEWS : Regarding TAM Data

IMPORTANT NEWS:As Jointly agreed by the 3 Industry bodies, IBF, ISA, AAAI, due to impending Digitization, TAM viewership data release for all markets for the week starting OCT 7th 2012 (Week 41) till Dec 8th 2012 (week 49) has been deferred for release on Dec 19th 2012 along with data for Dec 9th to Dec 15th 2012 (Week 50).

Munni they definitely need to put in a better system in place especially since all the fraud allegations that was were about the TAM system so good move on their part. Just hope CVs don't throw audiences crazy tracks now as they don't have to worry about ratings for a while.

Will just have to wait till December for the ratings.

In the meantime digitalisation is a great move forward in India.

exactly christine.. after the NDTV issue with the TAM reports .. this is so very needed ..

and i really hope that they don't throw crazy tracks as there is no more guarding stick LOL 😆

Hmm... I'm having a dumb moment here, sorry.. 😕 does this mean they're merely "deferring" the system but not actually removing it altogether so we'll get all the ratings from now until then on 19th December? Or are the ratings from 7th October till 8th December not counted at all and on 19th December we'll only get the ratings for the week before (week 49)?

In my head it sounds like the former, in which case I don't see the point of deferring it anyway 😕 if they ARE collecting data, what's the point in not releasing them?

My understanding is that they are deferring it to make sure that the ratings are not too much skewed during the transition. They will take a decision on publishing/withholding the deferred ratings..
