Godh bharari is like baby shower in English usually done when you are 7 months pregnant.

Ganesh Chaturi is basically keeping an Ganesh Ji idol in our house for 10 days in these 10 days we worship to the idol, on the 11th day the idol is taken through the streets where celebrations are galore; dancing, singing etc then finally it's taken to the sea to symbolise the ritual off-see of Ganesh Ji in his journey towards his adobe in Kailesh where he takes all the misfortunes of his devotees with him.
