For all the brickbats SNS has garnered, it is still head and shoulders over other saas-bahu serials 👏

Great post Munni.

Like Vidisha, this show certainly transcends the standard DIL/MIL blueprint and addresses real issues, be it social, jealousy and others, woven into a beautifully told love story.

Great OP munni! 👍🏼

It is good to see Gopi becoming independant... just wish she would ditch the crying at the drop of a hat! 😒

dear munni , Lovely post . I too started watching SNS last year because of Gohem . There have been instances when I used to get irritated seeing certain plots and tracks , koki acting as head of kitchen department etc. But now I understand why people are able to strike chord with the serial. The serial is actually showing the things happening in daily life starting from gopi koki gang collecting milk in the morning , washing and ironing clothes , cutting vegetables , grocery etc. In addition to that they added gopi's literacy track , women empowerment track . The other thing shown is how consumerism and craving for materialistic things effect on human beings - Urshi gang , kinjal. And through Gohem's love stroy they showed despite many problems , differences in the upbringing of gohem , love united them .

awesome post Munni! 👏...even today in India lots of girls and women dont get the support and backing from their family especially their inlaws in terms of education or career development..Gopi stands out as a ray of hope for these women...a barely educated woman with just hard work and goodness of her heart is able to achieve the impossible and its spectacular to watch Kohem support her all the way..they are not selfish or insecure and Gopi's happiness and progress brings them only pride and joy! thats what i love about Gohem..they are nowhere near perfect individually..but together they make the perfect pair!!😊

I think this is precisely what brings me back to saathiya over and over again. They showed gopi's emotional atyachaar in the beginning and it was painful to watch but at every step they've also shown her resilience and undying faith. Slowly, gradually and in subtle ways she won over everyone's hearts - including her husband. It is endearing to watch (after I've finished ignoring her flood gates). I don't think saathiya has ever promoted woman abuse.. they showed the sad reality of what happens in india in non metros (like rajkot) but how it's possible to turn it around with support from the family 😊 I loved koki and gopi's relationship from the beginning. That, for me, is the best part of saathiya 😊

Thank you for that wonderful post 😊 it's nice to see positivity! 😃

Awesome post Munni👏
Should I tell you that I agree with every word😃

Sometimes all it takes is a changed outlook. Did I think the TRP will go up? No. I was sure it would go down. But it is a fact that it went up. You know, this reminds me of my grandmom.

Thinking from her perspective, (She watches pretty much most of the serials😆), when in a time that it is just too rare to see good winning over evil, if the heroine keeps winning in the end and that too a girl who we have seen shed oodles of tears, will we not want more of the same thing.

The achaar track was not exactly boring but yet it was not exceptional. But for an average housewive, exceptional is not the expectation every day. They want to see something positive. I will agree that making the KKs flop everytime is bringing a positive change.
I am grinning when that happens, so like me there would be scores of people who will also smile and applaud and enjoy as Gopi gains love, attention and fame.

With no drama of the MIL going totally against the DIL and with the husband supporting her, with the normal pooja before something new is started, with the usual banter, SNS has sustained its audience..
A change sometimes works for the good for everyone. I would like to think it has for SNS.😛
